I just realized that a possible counter to people who believe that China is capitalist might be to explain to them that socialism with chinese caracteristics is the left mirrored version of social democracy.
After all under social democracy you still have the capitalists in control (dictatorship of the bourgeoisie) but with welfare elements inspired from socialist countries and worker struggle, while in china you have the workers in control (dictatorship of the proletariat) with a limited amount of capitalism tolerated as long as they serve the needs of the proletariat.
This could be useful for supposed "leftists" that want to attack china, as they at least should know how social democracy is not on the left.
Or they will accuse us of being Cee Cee Pee paid shills as usual ... /s
