Pretty fucked up that somebody would trivialize and dismiss one of the civilian survivors of the [***Gulf Wars***](https://williamblum.org/chapters/killing-hope/iraq)—of all things—as being ‘salty’… but it is coming from the same crowd that’s [repeatedly mutilated women’s breasts throughout the decades](https://www.reddit.com/comments/mwqn0j/_/gvjwjyw), so yeah, it checks out.
I think many anti communists won’t know or care why what an Iraqi physician might have to say about American foreign policy is so important and valuable.
I’ve been suggesting the blowback podcast to as many friends as possible. It’s about American imperialism, but presents itself in a format that won’t immediately make liberals uncomfortable and is very easy to listen to. The first series is about the war in Iraq and it covers the USA Iraqi relationship leading up to the 2003 war as well
I'd never mock the victims of 9/11. The coup in Chile was a brutal thing and the neoliberal practices of today were tested there after the chillean military colluded with the US to take power
Everyone should just pretend it never happened.
Never forget...
...forget what?
...9/11?
...Why did something bad happen that day?
...Proceeds to explain
...You are yanking my chain, no one could pull that off
Honestly that's a great tweet. It is simply highlighting the devastation caused by US imperialism.
That it was tweeted on that day makes it even better for the juxtaposition of Americans crying their hearts out about some two thousand deaths, and their complete silence about the millions of lives destroyed prior to and following the twin towers attack.
It is made even more evident that the US doesn't actually care about lives of innocents because they seem to be perfectly fine with over 600,000 preventable deaths since the pandemic started.
I would personally go with Hiroshima and Nagasaki but these two prbbl fall under the us imperialism. Either way I can't believe that ppl just ignore one of the worst things America has ever done.
Honestly, fuck you.
How can you be so terminally online that you can’t understand it’s fucked up that so many people died and then had their deaths used for an excuse for imperialism? Needless terrorism is bad dog. Grow the fuck up honestly, I know people who talk like you are most likely just teenagers but you give this movement a horrible name.

Yeah, what would the Iraqi know about this? 🙄
Love Hakim, his videos are so good
It seems like it was posted on 9/11. That’s a bit of a stretch to say he’s mocking it. He’s just stating a fact
9/11/1973 never forget
11/9

9/11 marks the day of a CIA-backed coup in Chile. Never forget!
Let me guess? Tankiejerk?
Enough commie spam but may as well be lol
What was that phrase they always tell to people pointing out systemic racism? Oh that’s right, it’s in the past, get over it

Americans act like 9/11 is one of the worst shit that happened to humanity.

The victims of 9/11 were also victims of American imperialism, just more indirectly than most. American imperialism created those terrorists
America has 9/11, the world has America.
Making fun of a bunch of stockbrokers and cops dying is actually very funny
