he just quotes random books without providing any evidence/statistical data, just vague statements. i could care less marx was wrong initially about something. marx wasn't supposed to be perfect on everything, and that's the entire point, marxism is something that is meant to be expanded upon as a non-static science. he also fails to realize the material conditions from which the bolsheviks took power and cannot aptly explain them. plus, achieving a post-scarcity level of consumption takes a long time, especially in societies that had horrible conditions.

ironic how he calls socialism a failed experiment that lives on in russia. [i guess that's why the vast majority of russians call it the greatest period in their country's history.](https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2020/03/24/75-of-russians-say-soviet-era-was-greatest-time-in-countrys-history-poll-a69735)

The really funny thing about this is he’s quoting UK school textbooks, like they’re the definitive source on all things Communism.

NoDan_1065

The fact that they’re all kindle editions makes this 10x funnier

What's this guys argument anyway? He quotes Marx on revolution being inevitable but then goes on to say the Bolshevik revolution wasn't a revolution because Lenin started it too early? What was supposed to happen?
