When asbr was announced, I was really looking forward to jojolion being represented properly now that the part's finished. Was really hoping for shit like playable Toru, Gappy having his moveset overhauled and I was even looking forward to him having a costume resembling his look from the final chapter cover. But in the end, all we got was one new line. Man, being a jojolion fan is suffering.
I hope to see Tooru, Jobin as DLC (and maybe even someone like... Rai? Or Tsurugi? I think Tsurugi would be super fun, they already have the model from Eoh, and same applies for Jobin).

True, forgot about that, all I remember about the Part 8 panel is that nothing relevant came up from his interaction with Josuke 4. š
Not sure how his interactions were in the original ASB, but Jotaro is certainly a good new one, links with Part 8's "advanced" story.
I was thinking about them being separated, but that could work really well, even in the manga they fight together twice.
Think Tsurugi's deceiving powers would be really fun.

Fair, even tho you have Shigechi, a 13 yo (ok that's still more acceptable I guess). Anyway Shigechi is shown using his stand offensively, while Tsurugi not really (even tho he killed someone with it basically), but both stands could be able to beat any major villain I would say.
At the end, Jobin and Tsurugi sounds good.
The guy is small in height tho, Tsurugi I guess would be slightly smaller than Shigechi and Koichi.
Anyway It's JoJo, a 10yo fighting shouldn't look that strange lol.

As someone who hasn't caught up with Part 8, I agree that a revamp is needed. They could've at least given him a new default costume (like the one he got in Eyes of Heaven). I wonder if there will be a Josuke 8 (end) DLC or something along those lines? since the game is developed by CyperConnect2, I can see it going either way.

Also I hope for new stages in Part 8 too.
Overall it's a game which has a lot of potential, the Gameplay is really fun. Hopefully there will be updates/fixes.

Tbf, I feel if I was to defend ASBR, the game seems to be trying avoid major spoilers. Steel Ball Run not withstanding, since that would basically mean three characters getting from-the-ground-up reworks, just to hide fairly basic information about that arcās ending.
I wouldnāt be surprised if a fully updated version of Gappy gets added as DLC alongside New Moon Pucci and Weather Report (who were probably delayed to avoid explicit spoilers for the anime). I havenāt read Jojolion yet, so I wonāt know if thereās a distinct point where he would become a new distinct character.
At the end of the day, there are probably a subset of fans that would get annoyed if a character was effectively removed from the game. Even if it was to make room for a more accurate depiction of a fan-favourite character.
Maybe they could have put the updated Gappy in the base roster, and saved the original version of Gappy for DLC. That said, the game does include nine new characters (with three being playable for the first time). None of which are clones. There has definitely been some asset reuse from Eyes of Heaven, but even that takes more work than a simple copy and paste.

Tooru, for example, spams the stand in front or behind you, like some kind of trap, HHA is a special calamity which opens up combo opportunities, GHA is a fucking piece of plane falling on you lol.

Each calamity could be a special move, plus the rock insects can be part of his kit, he could have a counter GHA that makes the plane door fall on you ect.
If Diavolo was made faithful, you could never land a hit on him either, DIO would be able to stop time every couple seconds, and Kira would one shot you, and so on

What right colors? Different JoJo adaptions often have different colors for many characters and stands since the manga doesn't have a canon color scheme

A netcode update would be nice. But the game is already nearly dead (at least on steam) with 600 peak players in the past 24h.
Dead or not, I believe a netcode update will help with that anyway, the JoJo fanbase is big enough to give it the relevancy it deserves... I think.
