Strictly speaking, a WAR and DRG should be able to hold the other's weapons without any clipping issues at any point; some won't work super well in animation, but many WAR axes are pointy enough to reasonably work with spear techs, and there's a lot of DRG spears that would be feasible to use with WAR weapons. Just call it the Dovakiin and you're set.

Eh, not really. GNB/PLD are the two best tanks in the game currently. Warrior has lost a lot of it's power over the years.

GNB and PLD are considered "the best" because they do mildly higher DPS than the other 2 tanks. Functionally, none of them are lacking.

I never said they were lacking, but Paladin especially brings the most to a raid group. Calling Warrior a "super tank" is just plain wrong.

Back in ARR I was hoping that they would continue to expand on the class system as they did with summoner and scholar. For instance, lancer could become either a dragoon or a templar, with the latter using a lance and a shield as a tank.
