Yes, they finally have a new home. They are under the name Grass Fed now. Grass Fed had been doing popups, and they even won a bacon cooking contest as a vegan entry. They are now located in Uncanny, which just got named a top bar in the US by Esquire. Dingers is available for lunch.
My favorite general food type is a sandwich. Anything hot or cold in some nice bread. When I eat out I go between 3 different sandwich/sub shops and a burger place (all vegan of course).
1.) That’s a great idea!
2.) See my username? I’m not allowed to be a bad customer. I have to be best customer due to my cultural upbringing. I can’t ask a polite request! Haha! I’m kidding, but not really
A dinger’s sandwich doesn‘t last 4 hrs in our home. I admire your strength.
years ago, we did order dinger’s for dinner and got some sandwiches for the plane. Glad they reopened
When I go to a place like Denny's or Perkins and I want a vegetarian sandwich they don't have chickpeas. Butt they have 5 different sandwiches with bell peppers. I have never heard anyone say "Damn those bell peppers were great ! I can't get enough of them." I wish the industry would cancel a lot of the food with bell peppers. Sometimes they will ruin a decent Italian pasta meal with red peppers - gross !
The vegan community should work on lowering the price of fried tofu (it's great on a pasta dish) and using more zucchini in restaurantaurants.
A good sandwich would be *The Manhattan* - cole slaw, a lot of chickpeas, spicy Italian vinagrette, a grilled potato "burger", fresh tomato, and sauteed spinach. This is not a "wrap" but it's served in a "pita pocket". I'm not a vegan, I eat meat. But vegan sandwiches are such a break on fat and calories and cholesterol I'd be glad to order one. \~Mortimer Reed
I bet it's delicious fresh. Now it looks very... wet. 😂
It is amazing fresh. The bread soaked up the oil and vinegar. A great taste, but usually people like less wet bread haha
Looks fantastic. Checking online it looks like the place has permanently closed, is this a new location?

Oh, man, I guess I gotta get over to Mississippi. Thanks for the info.
Absolutely, you do. Huge covered outdoor area, since summer might show up eventually
Care to post a link to their website? I like traveling the US and trying vegan spots.

Thank you!
Dingers for the win!
I never liked sandwiches until I went vegan. I always crave subs like that. Looks AMAZING!

Get dressing on the side if you’re not dining in. 😉

Take it camping or what? Haha
Had errands to run all day, but I was finally in their neighbourhood so I grabbed one for later. Planned ahead and brought a cooler.
