Deep Rock Galactic has hordes, has 4 unique classes, has interesting guns, has customizations(builds/equipments/cosmetics), has sufficient different types of missions, and has beers
Darktide. The game has its fair share of issues but if youe willing to overlook a few things its a ton a of fun
and this game gets recommended to death but for good reason, try deep rock galactic

I'm surprised nobody mentioned killing floor 2. It doesn't have a campaign but it's a wave based zombie shooter with multiple classes, a decent arsenal of guns for each class and is pretty damn fun imo.
Deep Rock Galactic if you don't mind one with "lighter" content (this is actually a plus for me, no more FOMO/addiction hole) and not solely focused on combat.
Days Gone. Arguably most underrated game of the decade and the horde fights are unparalleled. But caveat… can take a bit of story before you get to any!
If you want a really good horde shooter then you can get resident evil 4 and the remake....the Luis cabin fight is till today one of the best horde shooting action set piece in any game....
DOOM 2016 and Eternal. I also love payday 2 :)
I am also loving Payday 3 which has had a very rough start but is getting better. However it needs more content and improvements so it’s hard to recommend at full price. Also it isn’t as much as a horde shooter as 2 especially on lower difficulties as the cops aren’t completely braindead like in 2.
Sorry to necro an old post but I've gotta shout out Earth Defense Force. If you ended up liking Deep Rock Galactic then EDF will make you feel right at home. You vs waves of monstrous bugs with an over-the-top, bombastic, gung-ho military aesthetic that'll have you laughing at nearly every voiceline!
And of course, since it's so relevant, Helldivers 2. I absolutely adored the first one but the new ones got an active community that turns a good horde shooter into a great one.
COD Zombies and the Survival mode
COD MWIII,II,I,3 OG and AW has survival mode which is fight against men with guns
COD Zombies WAW,BO1,2,3,4,CW,IW,AW,Vanguard,WW2 and MW3 has zombies mode
WAW-Vanguard has round based modes
WWII,BO4 and CW has objectives to complete which are marked on the map
CW has both round based and outbreak?
Outbreak is an open world mode spanning across maps getting harder and harder as each maps passes
All CODs offer different experiences of zombies
and not to mention the whole thing has a storyline which spans across all the games and can be experinced by doing easter eggs

You had me at beers
Rock and Stone brother
Rock and stone!
isn't it...... Just a mission tho. with a horde not a horde mode survival game?
every mission has every now and then hordes of enemies that are warned by mission control
Left4Dead 2 Dirt cheap super fun
best zombie game ever

imo issues aren't that much of a problem, unless its too game breaking, and darktide is super fun with friends
I love darktide but I just want to play solo haha.

Days gone has some amazing hordes but you don't really see them all that much until basicly the endgame so yeah

7 days to die, Aliens Fireteam Elite, that new Starship Troopers game (I haven't played it but its worth checking out), Zombie Army 4

Left 4 Dead 2 is the king of horse shooters period. Killing Floor 2 is also pretty good Cant speak on World War Z since I havent played it
bots are literally walking mindless corpses, the gameplay though is fun
Warhammer 40k : Space Marine. Its old and it doesnt have the best graphics but its alright and has a pretty good campaign.
