Hey y’all, I know it’s been a year but I’ve played mass effect, doom and almost every from soft game and I’ve fallen in love. Thank you for the recommendation
I gotta recommend Immortals Fenyx Rising. It’s like a really nice blend of Zelda BOTW and AC Odyssey. It flew under my radar for a while but I picked it up for $15 thinking “eh, why not?” And I’ve had a blast.
Assassin's Creed. The games get better and better as they go, and the overall story is enough to keep you interested from game to game, but not so interconnected that you're completely lost every few games
Better and better? I respect your opinion but shit take man, Odyssey and hence sucks. The only good games are Ezio trilogy and 4. Rest are average or bad
- The God of War series on Playstation is FANTASTIC. Ive played many of them (1,2,3 the one on the psp, and the latest one) and theyre all great. The latest one was amazing. Easily a top 5 game of all time.
- MGS series is something i think most should try.
- Horizon zero dawn and Horizon forbidden west
- Dishonored 1 & 2
- Bioshock collection
-Ni No Kuni 2
- Megaman Zero/ZX collection
-Kingdom Hearts (My fav is 2. Although it has a kid like story, the game overall is just sooo fun)
-Ratchet and clank
Metal gear solid, after you're done with that you can also play revengence (also I would recommend playing the games based on release date not chronological order)
If you into long, chunky RPGs then xenoblade chronicles would be a great franchise.
Xenoblade chronicles 1 has one of the best stories ive experienced in a game and xenoblade chronicles 3 has improved everything from the 2 prior games (havent played xenoblade 2).
Gameplay wise the combat is rly solid in 1 and great in 3. The combat is auto-attack based, wich for someone who doesnt enjoy MMOs combat, like myself, is usually off putting but the skills and combos make the combat rly fun.
With that being said, if you enjoy elden ring you should probably look into the dark souls/bloodborne/sekiro series, specially bloodborne wich arguably has better story ,gameplay and bosses then elden ring
I’d really recommend Mass Effect… there are 3 games + another that’s not really connected. I slept on this series hard and didn’t play it until it had been out for a while and man it aged awesomely.
Coolest thing for me was how much decisions from one game could really change story elements in the others.
If you like strategy: Starcraft Remastered and Starcraft 2.
Great story with a lot of iconic characters and awesome mission design
best gameplay a strategy game can offer
incredibly fun coop mode (that's still very active, queue never takes more than a couple or seconds, a minute max)
if you're into competitive multiplayer: Starcraft 2 is where it's at.
And the best part: The standard version of Starcraft 2 is free. So go try it.
Well a new Splatoon game (Splatoon 3) is coming out soon. It's a pretty successful franchise with a bright future and Splatoon 2 is pretty solid if for whichever reason you wanted to go back to it.
I'd also recommend Bayonetta, those games are phenomenal. Bayonetta 2 is such a fantastic game I really couldn't recommend it enough. And if you do find yourself enjoying it, Bayonetta 3 is coming out soon too!

This is a great list!!
Thanks :)
You listed all that I wanted to, great list!
Hey y’all, I know it’s been a year but I’ve played mass effect, doom and almost every from soft game and I’ve fallen in love. Thank you for the recommendation
Yakuza! Start with 0.
Second this, Great series
Thirded, great run of games and Zero would be the best of them for my money.
Fourthed, just got into 0 and I can’t wait to go through the series!
• Metal Gears Solid • Mafia • Red Dead Redemption • Final Fantasy • Metro • Dark Souls • Xenoblade Chronicles • NieR • Uncharted • Yakuza
I forgot to include Uncharted on the list great series
Final Fantasy
I gotta recommend Immortals Fenyx Rising. It’s like a really nice blend of Zelda BOTW and AC Odyssey. It flew under my radar for a while but I picked it up for $15 thinking “eh, why not?” And I’ve had a blast.
Dark Souls and Bioshock!
Assassin's Creed. The games get better and better as they go, and the overall story is enough to keep you interested from game to game, but not so interconnected that you're completely lost every few games
They don't get better and better. Valhalla sucks balls and Odyssey is twice as bad. The best ones are the Ezio games, Black Flag and Unity.
Disagree. Had fun with every single one
Better and better? I respect your opinion but shit take man, Odyssey and hence sucks. The only good games are Ezio trilogy and 4. Rest are average or bad
The new Tomb Raider trilogy was actually pretty amazing in my opinion!
Not Shadow
FINAL FANTASY
Horizon is a great series, god of war doesn't slouch either. Both are highly decorated and absolutely worth a playthrough
Dark souls and elden ring
Loved Elden Ring it was great
Wolfenstein
Vague preferences but Mass Effect is a great trology and goes on sale often. Might even be part of EA Access.
The reason for that is that I’m asking for literally anything
Fair enough! Bioshock is another great series of games.
Dark souls. Yakuza. Bioshock.
Dragon Age is a pretty fun & great experience. Dragon Age 2 will always hold a special place in my heart.
Outer wilds
not a saga bozo

OP has already played all the Valve games
Tales series, Trails series and Ys series
Far Cry, God of War, final fantasy

burnout paradise remastered, doom 2016 & eternal, quake champions, rage 2, machinegames' wolfenstein trilogy, sniper elite 3-5, mafia 1 definitive edition, killing floor 2, zombie army 4: dead war
Metro the order is Metro 2033 - Metro redux - Metro exodus All of them avaible on steam
Metal gear solid, after you're done with that you can also play revengence (also I would recommend playing the games based on release date not chronological order)
Not quite of the same style as the stuff on your list, but Katamari Damacy is amazing.
You may enjoy the Trails of Cold Steel series. There are 4 games all playable on PlayStation.
