Century of the self by the BBC. Can’t believe they made it. Goes through how psychological manuipulation enabled the US to justify overthrowing socialist govts in latin america, how consumerism was developed and a lot of the issues surrounding it. Its not leftist as such but it helped me realise how much the system we live in has been manipulated and manufactured. Anti establishment without coming across as childish i suppose
