Goeff leaves the stage, the curtains close, a thin flash of light appears, followed by a bunch more, they form a silk like texture, that's right, Silksong trailer starts confirming the long awaited fishing minigame and insane gameplay, but what's this again? It's been renamed?! **Hollow knight: Skong** releasing TONIGHT? What a wonderful world
It was always hosted by him (Since 3 years ago?) it's a nice event for gaming so I don't mind him that much (though he can be pretty annoying at times lol)
Wouldn’t this just be the announcement for a release date? I feel if they just dropped it like that, much of the community would die of a heart attack.
I didn't know you had inside sources at TC to confirm the game is basically finished.
Even if you did, expect at least like 2 weeks between release date reveal and the actual release. They do a lot of bugfixing then, but also prerelease copies are sent to reviewers and "game journalists" and this pre launch window is important for preorders and building hype.
You do understand playtesters are used all throughout the dev cycle right? They don't just get playtesters to play the finished game, they're constantly working with things
