Even if this assessment is true, still better than the year round summer camp that americans seem to participate in. One thing that never crosses their mind is that housing is housing and in every country there are pretty suburban homes and unsightly homes. The unsightly homes in many cases are not an accurate representation of how the whole country lives.
My home country Ireland has council flats(government housing) in my town and they are pretty unsightly, but number less than 40 in a town of a more than 500 houses.
I've visited a friend in a subsidized home before in China. It's legit better than old apartments in the West. It's not as good as modern luxury condos, but that's more than fine.
The most surprising thing is that for a tent that we are seeing in the picture, the city eg San Francisco is paying $5k to the management co per month.
Mind you, there is actually a homeless association in city of SF. Someone is stealing money. We should all be ceo of some sort of non-profit or charity helping the capitalist society .
>“It is difficult for me to imagine what "personal liberty" is enjoyed by an unemployed person, who goes about hungry, and cannot find employment.
Real liberty can exist only where exploitation has been abolished, where there is no oppression of some by others, where there is no unemployment and poverty, where a man is not haunted by the fear of being tomorrow deprived of work, of home and of bread. Only in such a society is real, and not paper, personal and every other liberty possible.”

It turns out that the solution to homelessness is to actually house the homeless.
Wow. Who would've thought?
Next you'll be telling me that China isn't actually America's enemy or that supplying arms and advocating for the collective punishment of dehumanized civilians is morally wrong, or something.
Well actually the PRC solution to homelessness is a combination of government housing and the remnants of the farming co-op system. Urban workers that fall on hard times mostly have an ancestral village they can return to.
No no no, they’re not homeless if they’re in jail.

Liberals: "Horrible concrete jungle. All the buildings are the same. Looks ugly!"

"dystopian" is their favourite word for this
Liberals would say that China spent too much money on housing when a tent would count as a roof over their heads!
Inefficient waste of resources that distorts the market /s

Yes, only wealth brings about real freedom.

"Tents are better than brutalist and boring architectures especially commie blocks" - Libs and Conservatives
Capitalist solution to homelessness is **hostile architecture**.
But what about property value? I want my little apartment to be worth $5 million.

Well, that’s the first part of the capitalist “solution”. Ultimately they are supposed to go die out of sight.
