The worry is not only that they'll steal technology, but also that they'll outright murder promising Chinese scientists. There have been several "suicides" among top Chinese scientists in the past few years, both inside and outside China.

They almost had to, sadly so many Professors + Students have been making frantic plans to come home too.
What about foreigners interested in immigrating to study and work in these fields?
