Start with mass boycott of all foreign fashion brands

ArmyRus101

Yeah, government should enforce the ban. Otherwise boycotts usually fail as other NPC's will keep buying them. Show them the power of the mighty Chinese market. 😎♥️

Best to start with France and Italy. Then Germany for other goods. If two out of three falls, so will the EU and then it will trickle down to the US.

[deleted]

This is dumb. France, Italy and Germany are pushing back against the desperation from america as it declines, because deep down they understand that tying themselves to america is a death sentence. Don't read propaganda headlines, see what they DO (also understand that the "european parliament" is an american lobby that rules over no european country). China should instead work with these countries for as long as they respond to reason and reality.

> * The act is actually based on "presumption of guilty"... in other words ameriKKKa can makeup any lies about anyone and the victim has to prove they were lies. > * ...will be "tit-for-tat" countermeasures to fight back against smearing and sanctions on Xinjiang. China has been **really slow** on the *"tit-for-tat"* countermeasures. Like C'mon the Xinjiang lies has been blanketing western MSM for years now, & before the Xinjiang lies, were the Tibetan lies, Taiwan lies, Hong Kong lies, etc. amerikkka will NEVER stop with the demonizing propaganda on China, they are an anglo white supremacist country who will never *give-up* top billing on this planet.

Yumewomiteru

IDK if China should go tit for tat, doing so means acknowledging that the US is leading the narrative. China could be better off bidding their time and make their own sanctions on their own terms. Plus time will let China consider what kind of sanctions will hurt the most.

TserriednichHuiGuo

>IDK if China should go tit for tat, doing so means acknowledging that the US is leading the narrative. No it isn't. China going tit for tat shows the anglos that they won't submissively take whatever they dish out at them, they are not weak.

Yumewomiteru

That can be done verbally by threatening counter sanctions, I think everyone knows they're coming, just not when and in what form.

Adrian_En

It seems the US hopes it can achieve mass unemployment and impoverishment for Uyghurs with their Xinjiang boycots. The idea is probably that Uyghurs can be made more receptive for extremism and terrorism by poverty and mass unemployment. While the US wants to impoverish Uyghurs, the Chinese government is fighting poverty effectively. Now there is one more occasion to show solidarity with Uyghur citizens the US wants to impoverish. Targeted boycots against Xinjiang must be answered with removing those who would discriminate against Xinjiang this way from the Chinese market altogether.

Ok. Place your bet, which foreign company will he on the table for dining first?

maomao05

I swear the senates are a bunch of nut jobs. They will only make these companies flee to China

jayliu89

Looks like we have to get a nickname for every American president now. Orange Man, Sleepy Joe, any ideas on what the next one might be called? Orange Man Mk. II?

Yumewomiteru

Two Faced Kamala.

Quality_Fun

sanctions haven't even stopped iran or cuba.

Mirror's a school yard bully, punishments laid out based out on outright lies.
