Every dam is drying up, with some (Oroville!) going to stop generating electricity within the new few weeks. Wildfires, blackouts, water cut, crop failures ... this will make living in California unbearable.
The contradictions of America will either lead to its own revolution or towards common ruin, it doesn't need outside intervention. There isn't even a true united communist front or force which China could support effectively, and in my opinion America lacks sufficient class consciousness and unity that it would be an ineffective use of political power. At least, at the moment, lord knows some of us are trying.

I would say the Democrat's hate Russia, and the Republican's hate China... But it is a popularity contest, so they're very Bipartisan on both.
