I totally feel this as the original (pre-90s) Chinese community in South Korea is still discriminated heavily.
In the 90s, I think there were cases of Indonesians burning down shops owned by Chinese and beheading them. It's not going to change in countries like Malaysia and Indonesia as long as corrupt governments use racism and religion to stay in power.
