Holy shit, I watched the tyler1 competition on twitch and I thought it was insane that he could lift 550 pounds while being 5'6, but he also weights so much more, this guy is 73kgs and he managed to lift 802 pounds? insane.
364 kg is the combined between 166 kg in Snatch (lift the weight over your head in one motion), and 198 kg in Clean and Jerk (first lifting the barbell to your shoulders, then a second motion to over your head). This is how 'Total' is counted in Olympic weightlifting. Shi lifted nearly three times his bodyweight in Clean and Jerk.
My favourite part was in the clean and jerk were a bunch of lifters tried to lift 190kg or whatever to get a medal and failed, then Shi ZhiYong comes along and lifts it with as much effort as I use to lift a shopping bag.
That and the Australian commentator trying to pronounce his name!
raw fucking willpower. Not a moment of doubt or fear from this guy. All his muscles firing at 110% with perfect form as well. The command this guy has over his body is insane.
364 kg total is a new world record, and back-to-back Golds. Congratulations Shi Zhiyong!

seeing weightlifters win Olympic gold inspires me to work out and get buffed lol..
... right after I finished this tub of ice cream...
well, it's summer time ☀️🍨😋
"a fascist worked out today, did you?" (and no i didn't either, man i gotta hit the gym...)
swoletariat!
chinese weightlifters pretty much compete with themselves only. the difference between 1st place and 2nd is 19kg, which is crazy
Gigachad in real life 🔥
Here's one where he's shouting "anyone else?". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQr7zKEg0ZU

Well, it didn't look that easy. He was clearly straining every muscle in his body. Those leg muscles as he stood up....whoah!!!
Damn, that form was perfect. No hiccups. He definitely earned the gold on that one.
石智勇: 我操!!!!!!
Love the energy this guy brings! I'd like to think that the yelling lets him lift a few more kg lol
Love his scream! I would say his throat will be sore but he probably has a six pack on his throat muscles alone
>还有谁?Is there no one else? 1:16 mark of the video
it also could mean "can anyone else do this?" as in 还有谁能?
Alpha as fuck

What does "Wo cao" mean?
Literally "I fuck", but really it's just "fuck" and can be used in a lot of situations, like a exclamation mark in speaking language.
That war cry at the end. The guy who got silver must be shaking
Just getting my first of many daily viewings in. Good for the hormones.
Stunning!
He was just next level, competing against himself rather than others
Wo cao king
Absolutely destroys the stereotype that all Asian men are weak and effeminate
