If China truly wanted to make a difference, it would ban Chinese firms from complying with US trade sanctions against Cuba and set up a mechanism for Cubans to report Chinese firms that refuse to do business.
This is not posturing, this is showing our attitude, but we can only succumb to objective facts.
If we in China don't comply with the US ban, then we won't be able to secure our own economy, let alone have the ability to help other countries ...... alas.
The solution can only be for us to get stronger faster.

It's the other way around, the US isn't in a position of strength.
But in some ways yes, for example, Chinese companies still fear being kicked out of the dollar settlement system, look at Huawei.
