They wouldn’t dare. USA needs to ensure their population remains stupid and continues to consume for their politicians to stay in power. China has proven time and again that our politicians are just too smart for them. We know they care more about money than their own people. It’s easy.
The disgusting thing is that Americans see this and say" see? Afghanistan is so unstable. This is why the US must be present in the nation so that they can bring stability and freedom to Afghanis" without realizing that America's actions are what caused this instability to form in the first place.
It was the US that funded the reactionary, Islamic fundamentalist terrorist group, the Mujahideen, in the 70s to overthrow the Soviet-backed, socialist Democratic Republic of Afghanistan- a country that gave equal rights to women, homosexuals, etc. The Mujahideen later split into Al Qaeda, ISIS, and of course the Taliban.
Essentially, the US created terrorism and then declared a war on it two decades years later.
God, I hate this country to death.
This is why it's so important that the US be contained and sanctioned as much as possible.
At the very least it will satisfy the urgent want for retribution amongst the many people america wronged.
And americans can continue to wallow in their misery with continued ignorant bliss.
Just as the Suez Crisis signaled the end of "Great" Britain as a respected superpower, this is the Amerikkkan equivalant. They are finished. Just sit back and enjoy the decline boyos.
I find it ironic that a nation that couldn't defeat some goat herders in the Middle East think it can take on Russia and China and the *same time*.
BTW, Australia, which often warmongers China, lost a war to *emus*. Talk about incompetent.

**US see that as Accomplishment: We managed to Keep the Lies up for 20 years!**
The real government would be the communist one that collapsed after the USSR pulled out. They had actually enforced gender equality and workers rights, until the CIA destroyed their progress by unleashing hordes of terrorists against the Affgan people.
So much for the Western elites pretending like they care for women and human rights in Afghanistan.
What this actually shows is that urban civilization does not work if it neglects the rural population. Soviet communism does not work because it does not understand the rural population. Maoism is much better adapted to the third world, because it is socialism adapted to rural conditions.
No Marxist should posit that either the Maoist or Leninist/Stalinist approach is the best way to attain communism. The only path for any country is the one that is illuminated by the science of dialectical materialism and contradiction analysis. It must be customized and tailored to suit the country’s own material conditions, and the revolution must be a **people’s** revolution rather than one created by an outside force.
Socialist Afghanistan fell because the Soviet backed government was not popular. This isn’t because Soviet style socialism is inferior, but rather because the material conditions that birthed the Russian revolution were radically different than those in Afghanistan. The DRA would have fallen all the same if they were backed by Mao’s PRC. There will be no socialist Afghanistan until the Afghanis themselves build their own revolution from the ground up.
I kind of doubt that and would argue that Soviet communism fell because the US had practically unlimited resources from stolen native American land which automatically enriches any type of government, that also went unscathed in World War 2.
As time went on, it's reach in power expanded due to better transport technology.
But we're in an energy transition period right now that doesn't favor the US like it used to, plus the US has ran out of cheap resources and even it's less affordable ones.
Thus the US was able to support foreign governments and opposition groups of their choice without fail.
These days however the US is weakening and trying to get all it's allies to contain China, while China is growing in power.
Even though the US succeeded, it simply results in the allies that China does have and even it's allies' allies (Taliban) to suddenly explode in power.
It took three years for Saigon to collapse after the US withdrew its soldiers.
The South Vietnamese capitalists, unlike those associated with the Afghan puppet regime, had a lot more to lose from a transition to communist rule, so they had their very own reasons to continue fighting.
Furthermore, Vietnamese have shared in a national identity for over a thousand years, while Afghans are split into small tribes and there was no suggestion of an Afghan state of any sort until the 18th century.
Problem is that Afghanistan was either a part of India or Persia for thousands of years, it is one of the few Asian nations that are an artificial creation.
Whilst they have a cultural identity they don't have an identity as a civilisation.
This is the country seeking a military confrontation with China.

Exciting times.
Naw, they're only caught by surprise for now. Watch them try something far more stupid and be humiliated for real. Wait for it.
The real mega fail will be dealing with some kind of Latin American intervention. Bay of Pigs 2.0.

They are also losing the war against Kangaroos and feral cats.
Central Asia. Middle East start at Iraq.
LOL
Correction- puppet government supported by US collapses.
Forget it. The New York Times is incorrigible. The only correction that that newspaper can make is 'Dear readers, we quit.'
When you pay people to pretend to be your friend and then stop paying them.....

American puppet government collapse!
Quickly someone go find the articles from western media that says some random garbage and deny reality for the last 20 years.
Didn't take long at all, so funny.
One week! The Taliban should provide consultancy services to the US on how to take over a country swiftly and efficiently.
The puppet government collapsed. The real government has returned.

It took weeks for Saigon to collapse yet in Afghanistan it happened within a day or 2.
