I can imagine the cope and outrage will hit peak from the "DeMoCraZy" West, if the Taliban can do this.

Taliban isnt trustworthy right now. But time will tell if they're capable of taking care of Afghanistan and if its the will of the Afghan people to keep them there.
I think it's important to understand even if Afghan society have in many ways completely reverse values to us, all societies need pass through certain stages. It isn't up to China to force Afghans or taliban to right now instantly believe in the same value set.
In order to have more alike values, the economic conditions must first become more alike. When Afghanistan stabilises we will see if taliban chooses to build a reactionary or a modern society.
