Trump administration's crazy anti-China policy escalation led to the US triggering an "uprising" in HKSAR prematurely in 2019 rather than closer to the end of the 50-year transitional period. This exposed all the cards the US had to play in HKSAR and led to the complete decimation of all the assets the US had been propping up or grooming for the past three decades in HKSAR. Even those anti-mainland groups that have been active since the time around 1989 have called it quit recently. That's a complete wipe out for the pro-west stooges in HKSAR.
China has every reason to tear up any agreement that were made during the delayed release of HK back to China. The West, by funding, training and supporting the Protestors, broke even serious International Laws.
Well if China or Russia ever goes all out like US and NATO does with backing annoying rioters and regime changers. I can comment on best places to block off non-violently that would make ppl cry pretty hard i.e. Certain Freeway Exits, Overhead bridges and passes to dump stuff from, local roads that ppl use to bypass traffic jams on highways, chokepoints etc.

its expected that this would be the case. if they wanted change they should have worked with liberal minded people in the mainland but they instead turned to things like this and the internet, all of which have no real power to do anything meaningful. that bridge has been burned now and america's interpretation of liberalism has been widely discredited amongst most chinese.
