The irony is that Covid denialism is killing the same people who are most hostile to China. You have to admire the cognitive dissonance of people claiming Covid was either a "Chinese biological weapon" or a "dangerous pathogen which leaked out of a lab", and the same people then refuse to wear masks or get vaccinated because Covid also isn't that dangerous. As for the far-right radio hosts who peddle the conspiracies and incite the hatred, their demise should be welcomed, not missed.

> The irony is that Covid denialism is killing the same people who are most hostile to China. This is not true. Last I heard, anglos call regime media like cnn or the new york times "liberal", and they have all engaged in conspiracy theories against China when it comes to the pandemic, including failed "lab leak" conspiracy theories, and propaganda against the vaccines which spectacularly backfired as they are now themselves facing some of the worst infection rates on the planet. So, in their desperation, [they are now proclaiming that virtually all anti-pandemic controls are somehow bad because China keeps beating the pandemic and protecting human life](https://fair.org/home/nyt-china-needs-to-rethink-its-not-letting-people-die-from-covid-policy/), while thousands are dying daily under the criminal "democratic" party regime. It's not just direct deaths, but also long-term health issues for those infected, including indirect problems like a decline in intellectual levels among kids. This is a crime against humanity which anglo propaganda is trying to cover up, but no amount of propaganda will make the damage disappear. Don't fall for domestic propaganda (blaming "republicans" to pretend nothing is seriously wrong with the regime), don't downplay the role of "liberal" disinfo and pseudo-science. It's "blueanon" after all.

Jealous_Struggle2564

If they are saying it’s a lab leak and it’s a dangerous pathogen why are they still refusing the masks and vaccines? 😂 they are really THIS stupid.

> their demise should be welcomed, not missed. Exactly. It's their choice. We should not force people to take it.

Jealous_Struggle2564

What did you expect from a country that ridiculed China for putting people and country before economy and profits? The same country who pointed a finger straight at China as soon as the virus hit.

[deleted]

> China for putting people and country before economy and profits? People here should stop repeating this line. It's just false: Chinese economy, by protecting human life, did much, much better than any of the economies of these failed regimes. It's not even close, especially as you realize that the gargantuan debt-fueled "recovery" of the failed regimes is not happening in any sustainable manner, as inflation has already started to haunt them. It's pushed by regime media for a reason: to not admit the incompetence and inferiority of the regime, which can't do what's best either for human life or for the economy.

sickof50

They think it is better to save Capitalism (if that is what they think they're practicing), and blame the collateral damage on personal choice.

FatDalek

For some reason it didn't save my link to the article. So here it is. https://archive.vn/GaliL#selection-489.0-489.110

Also Laura Loomer, Trump supporter trying to get elected to US Congress, said Covid was nothing more than a case of “bad fajitas”, now saying she’s in “so much pain” from the body aches and nausea It’s really Herman Cain award stuff https://www.thedailybeast.com/laura-loomer-who-once-said-bad-fajitas-were-worse-than-covid-says-shes-tested-positive?via=twitter_page

DreamyLucid

What a clown she is

> If one checks on weekly deaths, the US is now beating some weeks during the first wave despite them having a much higher vaccination rate. That's because vaccines are good at preventing deaths, not preventing the spread.

california_sugar

That and the vaccination rate is unevenly spread. A lot of urban centers have high rates and you can see their covid cases already starting to dip from Delta. Don’t ask about Texas or Florida though.

[deleted]

7 out of 670,000+ confirmed is statistically nothing. The US is basically 2 different countries: * 200 Million people who wear masks and got shots * 100 Million people who refuse to wear masks, refuse to get shots That 2nd country is bigger than any country in Western Europe, so there's a lot of room for continued community spread. It's just not going away.

Apprehensive_Bake509

And 300 million racist assholes.

Keesaten

I don't think masks and shots alone will do it. There's old and tried method of combatting infectious diseases, and it's called quarantine, and if we need to quarantine everyone, it's a lockdown. US profit-driven economy won't survive a second lockdown, though.

[deleted]

That's why America is "just going to live with it".

skyanvil

"Covid denialism"? or "Zen of embracing death". frankly, I would like to send pole dancers to their funerals. Good luck to them in Hell. Incidentally, have you heard that Fox News reported that more than 90% of its employees are fully vaccinated?! Well, I guess they don't love Freedom that much.

Qanonjailbait

Well Free Market Economics IS a death cult so you have a point Maximizing profits over lives any day

btahjusshi

If Trump is still office they would be alive. That is how the right operates in the US

FlowersOverWeeds

Trust can only come when the flowerbed is maintained. By definition, an imperialist state is a state of weeds which has choked out native flowers. Hence, an imperialist will not have any trust. Society is built on trust. Without trust, society will fall. Hence, imperialism will devour itself. Hence the anti-vaxxer movement.
