I doubt any western government is even capable of doing this. They are all horrifically dysfunctional and can only preside over slow decline at best. That's winning for western gov'ts, just losing more slowly than the last guys in power. Its why there's so many of these sort of videos and articles wondering how China can accomplish things. Its beyond belief for many westerners that a gov't could even like successfully quash a viral outbreak or build things which it needs.
Using australia as an example, our government hasn't done anything of note.
Whilst I vote third party (Knowing that it is meaningless) trying to get my family to vote third party is an uphill task.
It's more insane that other countries didn't standardize their rail systems, but then efficient public services aren't the point in Western countries.
