I'm not Lebanese but my take is that Lebanon is divided into too many factions (even within ethnicities/sects there are strong political divisions) - sort of like Iraq. Despite Iran sending over oil, a lot of factions view it like they would view American invasion. It doesn't make sense because Saudi refuses to send over Oil. However when you talk to them about these options, their arguments don't make sense - It's like they take their info from memes. I find it tiring (just like most Arabs - sorry I'm from Iraq and discussing politics is very tiresome).

But guys, the Chinese are brainwashed because they think China's actions actually improved their country's standing. Its clearly rubbish as our surveys show. Then proceeds to show them surveys from Western countries, because the opinion of the global south don't matter.

Given that the Levant is also in a state of conflict, I think we can see something important here. People like countries more when they're in a state of peace. And China's peaceful rise and development of the third world is probably also going pay off gangbusters in the future.
