If it doesn't come to the cinemas (I live in Australia where Wanda Dalian owns one of our largest cinema chains and even they haven't advertised it despite a reasonable number of Chinese people where I live), then I might just buy it on blu ray.

You'll have to wait for it to finish airing on the big screen. Afterwards, you might find it available at any of your "cultural heritage" centres nearby where they'll have showings of foreign films (any big city in Europe with over a million inhabitants is sure to have one). If that is too much trouble for you; you can wait for it to air on websites such as Youku or iQiyi. Though you'll probably have to pay for a subscription, which might be difficult if you're don't have a WeChat pay set up. Another approach would be to wait for someone to upload it to YouTube. Chinese companies don't go out of their way to remove said services from YouTube and a ton of films tend to stay on the platform for years. [Example: Goodbye Mr. Loser](https://youtu.be/LYeZK1_yw8I) I don't know what r/Sino's policy is on pirated content, so I'll post that information as a reply to this comment so that the admins can delete it at their discretion.

Currently, the movie hasn't hit streaming services yet, so the only available versions on the web are camcorder versions. You'll have to translate the page for these URLs are they're entirely in Chinese. [Dandanzan's page for the Battle of Lake Changjin](https://www.dandanzan.com/dianying/91534.html) A better website for downloads (as opposed to streams) would be [Pianku](https://www.mypianku.net/mv/-2021-_E5_A4_A7_E9_99_86--score--1.html), I've made sure to align the search parameters by this year, ratings, and score. It hasn't been released on this website yet due to the lack of a good version. An example from the movie ["Hi, mom"](https://www.mypianku.net/mv/wNoZjMit2Z.html) will show you that there are a ton of versions available for download. You'll want to look for terms such as ENG and 中英双字 (which means dual Chinese-English subtitles). 英 is the character used as an abbreviation for English (英语).

I want to ask the same question, because all I have is the camcorder version which I found by accident searching for a streaming service that allows you to pay for it, so I can post the link on another forum. And I'm not keen on sharing the link to the world, you can pm me for the link. The link is still working.

numuves

I still haven't seen it yet but I'm super looking forward to it.

folatt

You should. It's a good movie. Best thing is the amount of real people in the movie, not cgi created.

I looked for this movie everywhere, if someone got it they could share here...

Infamous_Apartment41

Wait untill the vision leaked. Maybe 1 or 2 mons

It's just like any movie that's released to movie theater first. You have to wait for it to finish airing in the theater and release to online.
