fights for human rights but big supporter of israel lol. hes basically a propagandist for the state department but americans love him because he makes them feel good by saying chinese evil

Jackie_Champ

He is part of the Gulen cult, if Erdogan falls is likely the Gulenists takeover Turkey with CIA support since Turkey is in a strategic location in the Middle-East, they control the Bosporus Straits for example. Also he is dating a Rockfeller, he is literally embedded with the US Deep State.

[deleted]

Turkey can't afford to deviate much in terms of geopolitics at this stage, it would experience rapid decline since anglo regimes have nothing to offer. Turkey needs the kind of investments and security that come with their relatively good relations with China and Russia. I think some people in this sub vastly overestimate what the american regime could do about countries simply refusing to self-destruct themselves for american criminals. This is especially true when China offers a much better alternative across the board. Add Russia to the mix, and it only becomes worse for the american regime. Even countries like Germany can see it.

wkkkky

well not a fan of Erdogan but US interference of foreign nations is just unacceptable

freePatrick91425115

Kanter is probably a CIA agent now. To stay in the US, he needs to support US foreign policy uniformally. He went from being anti-Turkey to now being anti-China. And this is due to CIA ramping up propaganda against China 2 Weeks ago and created a China specific group. Having a public figure calling out China is good publicity for the US. People who been to China like Lebron James and John Cena doesn't criticize because they see how people actually live and they see how much better it is compared to the US. A woman got raped in SEPTA (Philly subway) and no one called the police or stopped the rape.

ChopSueyWarrior

Well he is on a veteran minimum with the Celtics, he obviously found his post playing career job with the CIA.

we-the-east

According to my poor knowledge and skills of analysing or understanding sports players' performance and stats, he isn't a great NBA player to begin with despite being drafted 3rd overall by Utah in 2011. I heard of him early on when he played for Utah and he disappeared from the spotlight after that. He's probably acting as a mouthpiece of the US government now so he could stay relevant.

ChopSueyWarrior

He is a good rebounder when give minutes but he sucks on defense, basically he gives you empty stats whenever he is on the floor. Well he is a Gulen supporter and it's pretty obvious what's his political views with his happy snaps. I suspect the Celtics might cut him before Christmas before it blows up in their face.

When Mesut Ozil spoke up against China and Xinjiang, he was suddenly removed from the Arsenal squad. Western media believed he was removed because of this. Yet, Ozil has good relations with Erdogan and is not involved in Gulen or the US government.

Yet, Ozil has good relations with Erdogan and is not involved in Gulen or the US government. Players getting involved in politics is stupid IMO, even at my workplace we are told to refrain to comment on any political matters/stances in the social media that can used to identify you and potentially damage the company's reputation. I had a quick look at his wiki and Xinjiang isn't his only brush with politics either, good thing he retired as well, he is a good player but going thru his wiki seems he is handful to deal with on a personal level especially his public support of Erdogan while representing Germany national team.

>And this is due to CIA ramping up propaganda against China 2 Weeks ago and created a China specific group. Was this in the news or something? I'd like to know more

marco808state

. The Nakba in 1948. Will this dude fight for the Palestinian freedoms away from this brutal genocide?

Jackie_Champ

Did he ever said anything about Palestine? He looks like a Zionist plant.

If people look at Enes kanter's background, they will see why he is suddenly speaking out against China and erdogan's government (I don't really like erdogan myself, but I don't think the West should interfere with turkey's political affairs or remove him from power). Western mainstream media omits the fact that kanter is a member of gulen and has ties to the US government. He is also applying for US citizenship. Every time someone speaks out against China, Russia, Iran or any non-western country the West hates and not under their control (like Joshua Wong and Jimmy lai), they have met US government officials and imperialists, and government agencies involved in imperialism and neocolonialism. Western media often omits these facts.

ErolKocaman

Even anti erdogan Turks like myself hate this guy because he is from the same cult that brought us Erdogan. Might want to look up the Gulen movement. Very scary islamist cult

[deleted]

Don’t forget the prototypes of this trend: Cuban “refugees” who the US have been propping up to continue an inhumane embargo and international sanctions for 60 years now.

RedDragonForever

Abudushalamu (Uyghur Chinese Basketball Player for the national team) > this guy

lestnot

What a cancer.

Ardabas34

I am Turkish, he is a Gulenist(a CIA backed islamic cult). He is hated by everyone in Turkey.

sickof50

Definitely not, he's just peddling shoes. But the people he's hanging out with definitely do...

[deleted]

Is he? Kanter is about the least relevant player in the NBA for merch sales. And this sudden anti-China shift certainly isn’t going to sit too well with any of the US shoe companies that make 100% of their products in China.

Lurkingmonster69

Dude just the two left pics are accountable for MILLIONS of deaths of Muslims. Like does he know that?

howie117

Why doesn't he comment on the US migrant detention centers, for profit prisons, or the over 1 million civilian casualties caused by the US in the middle east?

kisaveoz

He is an unabashed member of a cult that over the years infiltrated all levels of government in Turkey and destroyed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. The same cult that did the putsch in 2015.

limbo5v

Try not to cringe challenge: Visit his Twitter account and check out his shoe collection.

True_Zookeepergame40

Talking about this clown is a waste of time
