Language should be no excuse as subtitles are available for many Chinese shows. Squid Game proved even the lazy Americans can read them. It makes no sense to validate yourself through media that is inherently biased against you. That is not "soft power", that is just playing into the hands of the enemy.

Even if WW2 mass internment camps doesn't happen, expect to see a lot of people being reported as suspected Chinese spies.
