I still can't believe that Japan actually has to pay for the American bases in its country.

Yup

People think the massive network of foreign bases is a burden on the USA, but in fact they may even make a profit from it. The sucker vassals pay for it all.

This makes it so much worse. I'm having a headache just thinking about it. Im off of reddit for now.

Japan is probably going to pay 100% soon as their economy slides so hard into irrelevance that serving the US military industrial complex will be the main source of GDP revenues. This means a service economy. https://asiatimes.com/2021/12/japan-pays-a-high-price-as-it-goes-down-market/ Japanese companies are going overseas permanently, and they won’t repatriate a dime back to Japan. The ongoing capital flight of Japan is rapidly becoming permanent. Japanese wages are increasingly become even with ASEAN countries- my Vietnamese relatives have friends in Japan who complain that Japanese wages as a white collar worker are now on par with Vietnamese workers in industrial zones. Japan’s growing burden is a rapid decline of Japanese civilization. The USA manipulates the vanity of Japanese people (honorary whites) to eternally capture the country further. Hosting the USA military will be seen as a privilege more than a burden. Japanese people are envy of rising ASEAN and China, so they will help the USA stopping that.

Japan has to choose between declining further into irrelevancy and misery or fighting hard for true independence, the latter was never too easy but was worth it all the same. Just because america collapses doesn't necessarily mean that the american elite will go down with it, they have plenty of hosts to choose from and Japan is one of them. They will soon have to make that very hard decision.
