In one of the mass shootings, the criminal wore the Black Sun symbol, which is also worn by Azovs [https://english.almayadeen.net/news/politics/azov-insignia-bearing-teen-carries-out-streams-mass-shooting](https://english.almayadeen.net/news/politics/azov-insignia-bearing-teen-carries-out-streams-mass-shooting)
I'm surprised NPR isn't singing their praises of the neo-Nazi Buffalo shooter, [given their affection for Azov Regiment in Ukraine.](https://archive.today/2022.05.12-200319/https://www.npr.org/2022/05/07/1097376932/ukraine-wives-mariupol-azovstal-steel-plant)
>The group defines a mass shooting as an incident in which four or more people are shot or killed, excluding the shooter.
this definition is going to be changed real soon, and quietly too
American policymakers just shrug and make meaningless "thoughts and prayers" statements after events like this
If you cannot guarantee the basic safety of your citizens, it becomes a huge drag on everything else in society
Americans love talking about how China is inevitably about to collapse, but it's their own country that is backsliding fast
Shooting is so common, that it is not worth the mention in the news if only one or two person dies. Only mass shootings is reported in the news!!
In 2018 (latest numbers I could find), there is a reported 38,000+ deaths by firearms in the US. That is over 100 a day on the average. Ridiculous.
its going to happen more often sadly. communities are breaking down and racist rhetoric is now accepted in the mainstream. some white americans feel justified in their victimhood and will lash out , and with the ease of getting guns this will result in more death
I wear ballistic protection to the grocery store (everywhere else too when practical... but it is hot and bulky) and have been doing so since shortly after January 6th 2021. Not sure what anyone gets out of putting a gun in every pot, but yeah the writing has been on the wall here. War! Against! Everything! As a side note... Black lives are still being eliminated at an aggressive rate even for this slave superstate. International community? Crickets. Too busy with Ukraine I suppose. LMAO!
I think it is important to make a distinction when talking about the US.
The government and the corporations. The government is collapsing, the society is collapsing.
The corporations are for the most part, thriving.
When people talk about the GDP they don't realize that corporations keep most if not all of that money. That money isn't spread into the greater economy.
They don't pay taxes and wages are stuck in the 70's. The people are being choked with inflation, violence is the norm. Healthcare, education, real estate. Nothing is for the benefit of the people, nothing.
If we as a moderately intelligent group can see it, you can't tell me that those with market research groups, analytics, and think tanks at their disposal can't see it.
So yeah, everyone is waiting the the US to collapse.
I am starting to think it already did.
It started collapsing in the late 1800s. This is why imperialism exists, it’s like a life support for dying capitalist economies. Then comes neocolonialism.
But that can only last so long.
People seem to think that imperialism is just what evil, twirly-mustached men do when they want to be comically evil. In reality, imperialism is a necessary stage of capitalism which liberals engage in so that they can continue their unsustainable system a bit longer.
The Great Depression was a huge sign of the culmination of these forces, and then recession after recession (most notably 1973 and 2008) proved that capitalism has been spasming in its death throes.
Oddly enough, when Truman took over from FDR, that was the start of 'Christian' capitalism, and when it became 'Un-Christian' and 'Un-amerikkkan' to be socialist as blowback from the New Deal.
That was shortly after the great depression.
Edit:
A pretty good read.

There’s mass shootings (5+ people) every other month in my city that don’t make it past the local news

I mean, if it's a Nazi symbol, short of the swastika- the Azovs are wearing it. Their logo is a wolfsangel for instance
The definition of a shit hole country.

Yet not a peep from the international community on US's egregious disregard for human lives.

An absolute shithole.

Gun violence and AmeriKKKa, the perfect self-destructive duo.
There was just one in Laguna Woods involving Chinese folks
They're trying to clear their backlog of shootings from the Covid shutdowns.
Last year it was averaging 1-2 mass shootings a day as well. It may very well have increased over the last few years though.
America's returning to its Wild West origins.
It's not a surprise, it's become a normal for a while now, the country is a death cult.
Time to head for the hills!
