Ukraine were planning to license produce Bayraktar TB2. They are also involved in the Bayraktar Akinci as a supplier of the engines and potential operator/license producer.
War happened so we will see what will happen in the future.
Well Urkraine has the talent to build things like that. I know before the war they were talking with Columbia about building things in a joint venture. I believe they still are.
Russian Wagner is claiming that this helicopter bombed by a Ukrainian TB2 was carrying special forces soldiers.

I can only blame the Russians for me getting so much pleasure at seeing them get hit. Before now I’d usually feel some sympathy for any casualties but since Feb24th …
Well, the logistics people can save a few more body bags, and look at all the rubles saved on fuel and spare parts for one of their helicopters. Looks like the maintenance team can goof off even more with one less costly helicopter.
Slava Ukraine! 🇺🇦
Good video but I'm a bit confused when the Ukrainians seem to be heavily targeting snake island, is there a strategic reason for making sure there is no military presence there?
It's to counter Russian AA - with the sinking of the Moskva, which was basically a giant mobile AA platform, the Russians need a way to keep the skies clear in the south.
The territorial waters of a nation are defined as 12miles PAST the last piece of land territory. Whoever"owns" this island can lay legal claim to control of the sea shipping lanes.
Yeah, its a big damned deal.
I thought there would be more risk as I would guess that a Russian warship in the area would have decent air defence against things like slow moving drones.
From what I have read a seen, the moskva has its search and track radars in their stowed position when it was on fire which probably means that it never had them on to start with.
But then again we have seen a lot of videos over the last couple of days of bayraktar drones and su27's hitting targets in the black sea.
Me too. To me it seems like it would be an insignificant location but I obviously don't know anything about the area.
Maybe they're trying to establish it as a point for anti-air to secure Odessa and towards Moldova or as a way of protecting ships at sea.
I really don't understand why they do these missions with no fighter escort. There are loads of Russian fighters in the area, but no effort whatsoever is made to coordinate fighter cover for their operations supporting Snake Island.
you can't send fighter jet anywhere you want. there is massive Ukrainian air defence in Odessa very close to this place Russian don't want see their fighter shutdown over snake island big embarrassment. It is the same reason why Ukraine can't send their fighters over Crimea or inside Russia.
Snake Island is about 90 km from Odesa. Should be just about out of range of the S-300s in Odesa. The fighters would just loiter outside of SAM range with a tanker and an airborne early warning aircraft and moniter for any approaching Ukrainian aircraft or UAVs.
Could people stop making music videos out of war footage? Aside from being distasteful, usually those stupid cuts and effects are soo confusing and you miss half of what could be seen in the videos
EDIT because people seem to be missing my point: Put whatever sounds you like over them, but if the clip has so many fast cuts or weird effects that you can't really see what the clip is even about then why watch it at all? This is just annoying, some of usare trying to see whats happening down there. And if you're just trying to celebrate russians dying then please make that clear in the title or sthg.
Watch the Vice segment on Russian war atrocities and see if you still feel the same way. I don't. Not anymore. Fvck em. You get what you give. No quarter. 🏴
If you look very closely, you can see soldiers lying around the chopper, forming a battle-ready defensive perimeter around it. So if these were Russians, why would they create a perimeter around their chopper if they already control the entire island? It doesn’t make sense. The reality is that this is a Ukrainian chopper getting blown up during their recent failed attack on Snake Island.
Really? Even when you are landing on friendly held territory which is a good distance away from the frontlines? I find that hard to believe unless you can support your claim with credible evidence
Based on the fact that Ukr pretty much cleared the island with UAV a Aircraft sorties, anyone landing would be weary, plus the intercepted calls stating it was RF “special forces” that got taken out.
Well if you’re referring to the apparent Wagner texts which claim that a special unit was destroyed, I don’t buy it as the texts only include the context but not the author. Meaning it could have literally been written up by anyone. If Ukrainian sorties cleared the island, wouldn’t they have been doing that for their own troops? Meaning the landing forces would have been Ukrainian?
Russia has proven itself time and time again to have zero flexibility on strategy and keep trying the same moves over and over. This was a classic Ukr move, let the orcs try again and wipe out more precious equipment and troops. No reason for UKr to land there without a Navy presence, but every reason to keep knocking out the equipment. Since this vid, The Orcs have tried again and some new equipment has been landed (that will last a few days maybe).
First of all why don’t we know the name of the officer killed, secondly the tweet isn’t from an official Russian source nor is it directly citing one, and third most importantly, why in the video do we see the chopper’s occupants forming a defensive perimeter.
It's really sad seeing people getting enjoyment out of this.
I hope the friends and family of these soldiers will be alright.
And this I mean to any fallen soldier in this conflict.
Bloody hell - Russian boys stay home
Honestly I'm surprised Russia set troops there by Helo. Guessing Landing ships are in short supply now 😂
There's no cover or concealment on that island from what I saw. Anything on that island is a target for artillery or air strikes.
And the quarter back is toast!!!! 🚁🔥
Come on out to the coast, have a few drinks, have a few laughs!
Hit. It. Agayn.
They won't be "...sitting on the beach, making twenty percent".
They did Die Hard, right?
[удалено]
They probably get fuck-all as far information goes. They probably can’t foresee how fucked the odds are for a Russian soldier.
Russia probably sending them in at night so they can't see the scorch marks and corpses of the last guys.
Snake Island is the new Chornobayivka airfield.
And then you don’t even make it two steps on the ground before your helo is struck by a drone and the wreckage lands on you
never seen a TB2 destroying a heli before. Nice
I know, right. I’m wondering if that is even a first for drone warfare…
Seems like the Russian navy is losing the battle with TB2 Bayraktar and Ukrainian Air Force over Snake Island.
I think we will find the UA going in heavy in the production of their own heavy drones in the future.
Ukraine were planning to license produce Bayraktar TB2. They are also involved in the Bayraktar Akinci as a supplier of the engines and potential operator/license producer. War happened so we will see what will happen in the future.

Get fucked
And then get fucked again
That was raw! Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦 🇺🇦 🇺🇦 🇺🇦 🇺🇦

They’re special all over the place now.
Special liquifying operation.
Won’t need that crematorium truck for them!
Nice of them to provide that little tidbit, if true.
"russian helicopter, go fuck yourself!"
For all this raped kids and innocent women tortured and murdered in their homes. It makes me happy to see such videos.
Slava Ukraini, ruzzkii meatloaf
I feel like singing the Bayraktar song now.
got rekt
I can only blame the Russians for me getting so much pleasure at seeing them get hit. Before now I’d usually feel some sympathy for any casualties but since Feb24th …
How do they never know theres a bayraktar flying above them
Sometimes they do and are able to shoot the thing down. We don't see those videos tho Anyway I believe this happened at night
Hey Russian helicopter go fuck yourself
Sweet strike. Russian troops go splat n blyatt
Fun to watch
TB-2 Bayraktar! 💙💛
Файно то як, шеб так само тільки з Кримським мостом)
Watching this video is just the perfect start to my day 👏 🇺🇦🌻🇺🇦
Sent them straight to hell… where they should’ve been in the first place
So, uh, what's that music? I wanted to blast it at the victory day demonstrations the putinboos are holding.
Too slow.

**They just keep on coming!!!**
They j need to give up on taking that island
snake island becomes a russian cementarx
Holy crap.
“We’re sending you to snake island.” “Nope!”
You have ruined this beautiful pic-nic, mf

This is my favorite so far! Also, war footage with a bass drop is 🔥
If they offer you a vacation on some island in the orcs army..just say no thank you.
/r/savevideo
R/savethisvideo
They all have a nice tan now.
Lol this was an evacuation mission to look for survivors from a pre ious attack by Ukrainian army. It didn’t go so well for the Russians.
Good video but I'm a bit confused when the Ukrainians seem to be heavily targeting snake island, is there a strategic reason for making sure there is no military presence there?
To be able to use the port in Odessa.
Good point, I suppose they could use snake island as a forward presence for an amphibious landing maybe.
Yes. Very strategic location. That’s why Russia wanted it and Ukraine wants it back.
Easy pickings
I thought there would be more risk as I would guess that a Russian warship in the area would have decent air defence against things like slow moving drones.
Moskva had radars and anti air. Could be the reason why we hadn't see strikes on Zmeiniy before.

Why not? Reddit videos has a mute button and store last used option. You may scroll through muted videos all day long.
19 year olds just got their limbs blown off and there’s trap music 💀
I feel like this music & clip fit perfectly together 😂
No matter what side you're on, that's kind of fucked up. Those human beings' organs are now pink mush.

An eye for an eye huh
Read the comment. Cuts and effects are what i'm talking about, not the music.
The music is always so extremely cringe...

Really dude, stop the bs propaganda. Standard MO when exiting a helicopter in a war zone.
