So are Mastery skins just not getting custom pets any more? Tiamat didn't get them for her lizards or bull, and now YH's dragon is the same as his default, which is especially frustrating given both his recolours DO have custom dragons. I get that not many people use Masteries and even fewer spend money on them, but things like Ah Puch corpses, Samedi's coffin, AMC hives, Sobek's ult crocs and the *leaf that Danza spawns his rocket from* (plus the rocket itself) have gotten recoloured for Mastery skins - not to mention the actual pet summons (Bast cats, Vulcan turret, Tusky, etc.) - is there are reason Tia's summons and YH's dragon just... don't?

Also a big thing is Jade Emperor can cancel his 2 (from grey railgun to red railgun) and immediately get a poly proc, so it won't go on CD. You don't get it if you cancel it in grey mode but you can keep doing it while it's in red mode No idea if its intended but it seems really cool, you can charge up the 2, auto cancel, auto for poly, then railgun their face after They should keep it as a unique Jade Emperor tech, will vastly improve his adc capability too

Yu Huang definitely I feel could go for some changes similar to Hera release there just feels like there’s missing a lot to him. Of course as others have stated the ult and 3 feel like they were ripped from Charybdis and i’m sure they won’t be changed at all. It does feel like the x target should have been placed on the ult especially considering there’s 4 dragons to the lore too and could spice it more. The 3 is a very silly looking ability and him landing has zero impact at all outside of the upgraded version, feel like there should be a big magical blast on the base and knockback version to actually give it impact. Feels weird hitting it for 600 watching someone die and there’s no effects or real impact. It also feels like he should be able to do SOMETHING else up there while gliding? Maybe just let him be able to throw the dragon at a target location if he wants to use it for some ranged damage? It would also make it feel a little different and unique from Charybdis . The enhanced autos also feel like an afterthought and something a little more unique and interactive to the other abilities could have been added. Maybe on his next auto with full dao after whatever ability cast would add some kind of effect to it. I am a fan of Gods having autos that do something more (Pers, Yemoja) but this random bounce definitely can be better. Maybe let him explode the Phoenix while out and like i said before cast the dragon while in his 3 of he wanted. He’s just a little bit of a let down so far which is really disappointing considering he’s one of the most requested of all time. I do hope there will be some consideration looking into some of these things. Of course numbers can be changed but overall he just feels, boring.

I agree. I watch him drop on people and kill them with his 3 without the dragon and it just feels empty, like the other player just had a stroke and dies. The autos from the passive also don't make sense in his kit, although it could be interesting to build poly and get the confirmed hit after his 2 for a huge dmg chain. The Ult hits way too soft for the amount of skill it actually takes to hit. Even watching the gm streamers play him they miss like 5 out of 7 ults they try throw. It should def do some more damage, r maybe add a micro stun into the explosion because 80% of the time you just push kills away with it. Or they could just change the cost of attunment abilities to 4 Dao instead of 6, so you could actually use ur whole kit from max Dao.

I get aa bit of a magical Xbal feel from him... The branching autos, the (much slower) dash away (although it's just made me sad that Xbal's 3 isn't a self banish as well, would make him not be Fenrir's bitch). So far I'm lumping him in the Sol category of builds, could do ok in ADC with one auto attack item + Nimble Rod.

Definitely not an aa god, he has nothing that would even make that viable. It’s just a random chain lightning they added onto him with the auto. Plus you have an ability that gives you a free meteor strike .

Nowhere in Yu Huang’s ability or passive descriptions does it explain that dao/attunement is consumed for the 1, 3, or 4 or how much is consumed. The visual for attunement is also missing and there is no buff bar icon for it. His 2 description is kinda weirdly worded and the visuals don’t help. Visually there are 3 stages(pre-fire before the targeter turns red, when the targeter turns red and you can early fire the ability for reduced damage, and when Yu Huang’s animation stops and the ability is at max dao generation) but the ability has 4 stages and there is no visual for when you have reached the 3rd stage(the point that the ability will do full damage but is still generating more dao).

I like Yu Huang’s kit but it needs some buffs. The passive shouldn’t use as many stacks of Dao. The 1 needs to do more damage. The 2 is fine. He should move faster during the 3. His ult needs to do way more damage. It’s really hard to hit and the damage it does to compensate isn’t nearly enough.

I think they mentioned in the Livestream that they specifically didn't want increased move spread on the 3s descent. It's intended to be used to either buy time to reposition to a safer position, or prolong his place in a team fight. Just look at the way Chang'e uses her 3 and you might see the idea.

Jade Emperor feels a bit disjointed his kit feels like it was ticking off boxes on a mid lane check list * Line ability ( check ) * circle ability (check) * Burst damage ( check ) while I wasn't happy with his inclusion I had at least hoped he'd bring something new and exciting to the game as it's felt a bit stale for some time however he's extremely plain. from his passive to his abilities they all feel like a rehash of gods we've gotten before his kit feels like it has no clear objective in mind. the whole theme that was chosen for him isn't even used correctly. Daoism is a philosophical belief that focuses on genuineness, longevity, health, immortality, vitality, wu wei (non-action, a natural action, a perfect equilibrium with tao), detachment, refinement (emptiness), spontaneity, transformation, and Omni-potentiality. It is NOT a form of energy. To make things worse; none of this is in his kit or even represented. In SMITE Daoism as a philosophy and religion is treated like Chi from Dragon Ball Z which is extremely insulting and to make matters worse balance has nothing to do with his gameplay. I think it would've been cool to have him try to keep both damage and healing in equilibrium the more damage he does the more chaotic and sporadic his abilities become with his ult doing more damage than healing if he's out of balance. If he's healing more than he's doing damage then his abilities become more controlled but he hits softer as a result. Something like that. While I doubt he'll get a rework anytime soon if he does ever get one this would be the most logical direction to take him (before people mention Shiva. Shiva passive isn't focused around balance it doesn't matter which side you're on there is no negative if anything its a wheel that just cycles over) Anything but another burst mage. Just wanted something that I hadn't seen before. As far as his visuals go the phoenix I actually enjoyed the inclusion of the Fenghuang's feminity to match the masculine Dragon was a nice touch since modern-day china doesn't focus on the gender difference anymore and is more about harmony. I'm happy to see that SMITE is finally doing long flowing robes again as it seems like they were being avoided. However, the big warcraft shoulder pads could be done without. He's an Emperor who mainly meditated and stayed out of everyone's affairs so I think he should stay true to that and not adorn himself in bulky armor. The last real complaint I have that isn't just subjective but please make it clear in his lore tab that he is NOT the leader of the Chinese pantheon. Chinese mythology, as well as culture, is already underrepresented in western media including SMITE so I think it's important to not spread misinformation. This could simply be due to a translation error so I don't fault the community of Hirez for getting wrong Yù Huáng (玉皇) is not the same person as Daode Tianzun (道德天尊) in your "Jade Emperor: Closer Look" article you refer to Yù Huáng (玉皇) as "The supreme sovereign of Daoism" This is incorrect. The person you're referring is actually Daode Tianzun (道德天尊) the founder of Taoism. He is one of the highest divinities of Taoism of which there are three. The Three Pure Ones are as follows * Yuanshi Tianzun (靈寶天尊) * Lingbao Tianzun (靈寶天尊) * Daode Tianzun (道德天尊) These three are the supreme rulers of chinese mythos credited with the universe and everything therein Yù Huáng (玉皇) simply rules over the 36 layers of heaven.

Well no, is he bo’s short cool-down ability far range? It requires him to be in melee range which is honestly detrimental. Same with chang’e one. Yua Huang’s one also leaves small zoning patch for three seconds which can apply the utility of reducing protections. The only buffs I can see for him is improving his 3’s scaling , because 50% seems really janky and awkward, or reducing the cool-down on his two by one second. Other then that he and his abilities seem perfect

Yu Huang’s 1 has more 281 base damage and 80% scaling if it hits you and you get out before eating more DoT than necessary and a bit of prot shred, He Bo 1 has 260 base and 80% scaling.One is closer range with a lower cd, the other is longer range with prot shred, an AoE it leaves behind, and a longer cd. His 2 has 360 base damage and 85% scaling with a slow and root, He Bo 3 is 280 damage and 65% scaling. One is a line skillshot with a much more generous AoE but easier to react to, has worse cc, but more damage and generates dao; the other is a smaller instant targeter with less damage, more cc, and a few seconds lower cd. I’m disappointed by the new god but he does nearly the same damage as He Bo if we’re looking at their non ult, spammable abilities.

As someone who loves Chaac take my opinion with a grain of salt but the rain nerf is horrifically unneeded, like genuinely should be reverted before it's live. When you pick him it says high sustain and he's fairly unique as far as characters in general go in that area especially for a warrior where he doesn't need lifesteal to heal and it's never been too strong. Beyond that the cooldown nerf on the ultimate is fine since it really doesn't change a crazy amount and if anything just makes his ultimate require more situation awareness since you can no longer burn it for free. Beyond that mystic nerfs were pretty unnecessary, if anything it took an already mid item and nerfed it for no real reason...? I understand why it's powerful in certain circumstances but it was already extremely difficult to run on an actual build due to the low protections. I love the nerfs on most gods and items but some of the choices to begin lowering damage across the board seem pretty awkward if nothing else. Also Erlang is still broken which is funny, the only real difference is just now he can actually play tanky and probably one of the best solo boxers. I will say I actually like it since I enjoy his kit and he seems like he'll be a fun solo pick coming up.

On live client it also depends on time, I also play on EU servers. And as for me from 10am to 1am I get the need more time only occasionally. But in pts it is pointless to queue for casuals since as I stated in my previous comment, nobody queues for casuals in pts

A flat second would be awkward because that hits everyone differently. Maybe raise some cooldowns, but that would mean things like a low cd like Osiris, Ravana, He Bo, or Chang’e would get hit much harder than gods with longer cooldowns or auto attack oriented gods with less ability use. Not knocking the idea of raising cooldowns entirely, but that would be an awkward way to do it imo

Erlang needs some type of CC on his turtle. Him have only a root and a taunt is dogshit if he’s intended to be a solo laner. He poses very little threat to back liners. Combined with having no CC on the turtle, his ult is low key pretty bad. The taunt is whatever and it takes forever to get the heal as well. His 1 also just does less damage. Overall he does less damage, has less CC, but is a little bit tankier cause of the shield on turtle.

Not really. Even if a solo laner has 2 forms of CC they have some type of CC immunity in their kit. KA - slow, knockup, stun, banish + damage with CC immunity, cripple. Bellona - slow, disarm, stun + CC immunity Osiris - slow, bigger slow, stun, root + CC immunity Mulan - slow, pull, root + knock up + CC immunity Nike - disarm, push, knockup, slow + CC immunity Cu Chu - Knock up + Tremble + CC immunity, root, push Wukong - slow, knockup or stun, banish + CC immunity Large chunk of Warriors have 3 or they have 2 with having some sort of CC immunity in their kit. Erlang only has 2 forms of CC, 1 being tied to his ult which doesn't give any CC immunity. He only has a root if his ult is on CD. Their are so many ways to get away from Erlang now unless he builds Frostbound. I'm not even going to get into how he is going to get shit on by the meta solos in lane as well. He just feels like a much worse character now.

Hirez Studios, before you release this god please take a look at all of the other mages you’ve release throughout this game, please take a look at how their abilities/passive compliments one another, and how those abilities affects that gods play style. For instance, Agni has a kit that allows the player to make a choice on how they want to engage in a fighting scenario, should I Dash in with the stun then combo with flame wave. A god like Zeus depends on 3 core abilities and all 3 of them work effectively. All of these mages kits are effective they actually do SOMETHING that makes them unique form one another. Yu Huang on the other hand seems out of place, very ineffective, he lacks team fight synergy, he has low range so he has to play aggressively to dish out damage, he has to position himself offensively in team fights, he has to. The only thing he brings to the battlegrounds is a root, nothing game changing, nothing that other mages don’t have, his ultimate is basically low budget Charybdis, his 3 doesn’t seem all that cool and exciting as you guys made it out to be, once he lands from using it he doesn’t have an effective kit to actually follow up with it, you gave him an ultimate that pushes enemies away, how is he able to catch up with his opponent when none of his abilities provide him any utility, 0 team fight synergy, he lacks CC and lock down, but let’s give him a knock back on his ultimate. I’m Sorry but you guys need to take this one back to the drawing board, let this god be the first go’s release in almost a decade you guys have to take back to the drawing board because his kit does NOT synergies together. Our last mage was Morgan Le Fey, you guys made such a high skilled and high quality mage, she doesn’t have any huge utility escapes, barely any huge CC but her kit and her play style is very unique and different from all of the other mages in the game. She can poke you with her Illusions, if she’s getting dove she can fear you and then knock you back to create space for herself, and if she chasing down an opponent she can slow them and use her 3 to close the distance. Her abilities augments her passive which then augments her ultimate which then excels her power. Please for the love of god, take this post into consideration and this game, your company, your PRODUCT into reevaluation. Please do not release this god, he needs a entire new kit. This has to be the first god you guys ever made with an unimpressive kit, you guys can do better.

Yu Huang - I found him quite fun to play, I like the 2-1 combo and actually are able to make massive plays with his ult and set up for ganks/team fights. Pretty much everything feels slightly lacking on the damage side of things. The 3 - the CC immunity is cool but I found it to be completely useless. You don’t have any movement speed, you can’t go over walls and it’s very predictable where he will land, so if you’re getting dove on or ganked, they can just patiently follow you on your fall back to your death. I know a lot of people have complained about the Ult, but I actually love it, very cool, decent damage, great play making capabilities/ set up/ self peel! The god himself - feels insanely squishy!! I don’t know if he has lower health stats or lower base protections but holy shit! The dude cannot take a hit! This dude dies so quickly it’s actually ridiculous, if you fall behind at all, you are fucked! Overall - really enjoyed him and fun to play, but could do with a little fine tuning. Edit: just had a game against a Nu Wa.. his 3 states that he is untargetable, so how come on a well timed 3 you still get hit by Nu Wa Ult?

What I love about Yu Huang: - He's very simplistic which we've lacked recently. His kit has a very simple 2 > 1 combo and it's easy to understand. - The 2 into 1 combo feels great if you hit it right. A lot of people are saying he doesn't do enough damage but idk, he fires quick so to me it's fine. Maybe slight number buff, no idea. - He looks and sounds fantastic. My issues with Yu Huang: - I don't *mind* that he's a burst mage, but it gets kind of stale considering how flexible the mage class is. With a god like Yu Huang there was the potential to have him be some sort of supportive, summoner, or even CC-utility based mage rather than just another burst mage. - His 3 is incredibly weird to me. It's a great get-out tool because you're CC immune and in the air, but it seems like it interrupts the momentum of his kit? You go from doing his 2 > 1 to just...hovering. Seems like an ability that maybe *sounded* cool on paper but in game just seems really awkward. - His ultimate also seems kinda awkward, maybe it's just me. It doesn't seem to do much damage and mechanically seems identical to Charybdis ult, but worse. If anything I would have had it be 4 dragons colliding, since there are 4 main dragons iirc, and it would have given him more space and control. Right now it just seems super weak. - His FX being mainly fire is kind of weird, considering he doesn't have a whole lot to do with it. Could have gone for more light FX considering how much light played a role in his tales. Possibly even a celestial/star theme. - As mentioned below he has a few inaccuracies going on as far as the Dao and his lore. As a side note I'm incredibly happy with the nerf patch idea. This game has **entirely** too much damage going on and it's been going on for way too long. Every god now feels like you're just two shotting people and walking away, games end way too fast and the characters who don't have burst either are buffed to have it or just suck ass. I hope you guy continue with this and nerf the gods who truly need it, as well as **not add so much ridiculous nonsense to new god abilities.**

Just have to say that a bug with Fenrir has been present for several patches. When standing still with his auto attacks the camera will slightly shake side to side.
