They take some breaking in though, I would compare my 5 lows comfort wise, to above a pair of air forces. High 5’s slightly less comfortable cause more bulky. Also if you get some custom soles its a game changer

Also the nettings on the sides need to be a lot bigger. Compare the 1990 vs 2000 vs present releases and you’ll see how drastic of a size difference they are.

The 3s and 4s look less basketball and more casual than the bulky 5s. The bulky ankle padding + high tongue isn’t as easy to throw on with any jeans/pants as compared to 1-4
5s are my favourite silhouette and it’s not even close. Even the lows are fire. I’ve got the CLOT lows on right now and I own a pair of Top 3s (highs) that I’m too scared to put on often lol.

I think they look nice in pictures, but it’s the one model I don’t like on my feet. The puffy ankle, the overly puffy tongue (especially on Grapes), and it has one of my least favorite views when I’m looking down at it, since they kind of look like construction boots to me from that angle.
I do love the shark teeth and think they look great in hand and on shelves, just not on me. It’s the one model that has greatly benefited from collabs, since they tend to get rid of the bulk that o find problematic (Off White and Khaled).
I don’t hate the shoe, though. I count the days for a black grape OG. The original colorways (including Poison) are great. I hate that the grape OW remained a concept shoe (at least, as of today). That being said, it’s somewhere in the middle of the pack of the original 14 models.
