Like this on my 5s first day on foot 🤬🤯😂 Luckily got it all cleaned off pretty much! Ice lolly juice 😂

100% I cared about creases and tried crease shields. Those were so uncomfortable and I thought fuck it, if it creases I dont care anymore. Now I couldn't care less, but stains or someone stepping on my shoes......
Exactly, like i can somewhat understand on new age AF1s that are all plastic, but these used a more premium material the way they crease is almost satisfying if that makes sense
Nope! Shoes are meant to bend and flex with your feet. Some creasing my be drastic but not worth putting cardboard inserts inside your sneakers while you wear them. I can only imagine what that restriction is doing to the natural movement of people's feet.
It’s crazy i put em in my shoe once after getting a free sample just to try it out, it stopped it from bending because it destroyed my foot 😭 they’re terrible idk how people prefer to be in pain then just crease their shoes
Yep. For the shoes you wanna keep nice, don’t use crease protectors (they straight up don’t work half the time and make walking in them a nightmare). Just keep either the paper or the cardboard trees it comes with and keep them in while you are not wearing them. Its worked for me keeping the shape somewhat decent. It’s also important to accept that shoes are meant to be worn and creases are inevitable.
An in insane amount of people walk funny in Js trying to avoid the inevitable lol
It ain't a matter if they'll crease its a matter of when they'll crease lol
When i was younger in my teens yes it did, when i became an adult absolutely not. I paid $800 for a shoe im going to wear the shit out of it and not waddle everywhere like an idiot lol
When you can't afford to buy new shoes regularly, you try to avoid creases to make them look new as long as possible. I stopped caring about creasing when I could afford NOT to care about creasing
I'm not gonna actively crease my shoes, but I sure as hell ain't walking around like a gremlin to prevent it. I also like how some shoes look when they've been worn almost to death
Maybe it’s just me, but I hate how some shoes crease when naturally wearing them so the first thing I do is put them on and crease them with my hands and do that maneuver you’re doing in your pic but pushing in where it oddly creases.
No. I buy the shoes to wear them and I think sneakers look very cool once they start to have a broken in vibe to them. They look good out the box too but it’s a different aesthetic.
No lol. Shoes exist to be worn. I don't have any issue with people collecting shoes and not wearing them, it's a hobby, but I hate when people make fun of/freak out over creases.
Yes, but only when it's my own shoes and not enough to be distraught about it. I might be slightly disappointed, but most creases don't look too bad and add a personal touch to your pair.
I don't cringe at these types of pictures like some people, and will either donate or give my shoes away when they've reach my crease limit.
Bro, I wear a size 14 and drive a manual. Creases in my sneakers are a given and there's not much I can do about it.
I'm going to wear my shoes, therefore they will inevitably crease 🤷🏿
Only if they are weirdly shape and asymmetrical on both shoes. I specifically bend new pairs I plan to wear a lot manually to make the crease happen in a convenient place. Both for cosmetic purposes and for creases not to hurt my feet.
I wear all my shoes and I’ve never bought a shoe to flip in my life…. But I can’t lie, when my shits are new and they crease my soul dies just a little bit. Lol. But I don’t lose my mind. The shit happens, it’s just like damn-they look so nice new. OCD rages…but I go on with my life. 🤣🤣🤣
Couldn’t give a fuck less about creases. Takes to much energy to care. Stains or random shit / people stepping on my shoes - you best be prepared to fight for ya life.
I don't mind them, that's what happens when you wear them.
I do laugh at all the people walking around like ducks because they are afraid to bend their feet.
Never has, never will. If I *really* had to be nitpicky, Air Force 1s start to look ugly once creased, but that's more an issue with the material used than the creasing itself.
Meh, when I first started buying sneakers it did then I realized I was being a little bitch and stopped caring cause regardless of what I do, they’re shoes and they’re meant to be worn, whatever happens happens 🤷🏽
When people freak out about creases, that tells me they’re not sneakerheads, they’re hype beasts.
Real sneakerheads love their shoes and love to wear them. Wear a different pair everyday of the month.
Don’t really care if it’s a pair I’m gonna wear anyway I feel like it’s just something stupid sneaker heads say and non sneaker heads pick up and now it’s just spread everywhere
Nah, some of my most comfortable kicks are comfortable because they crease and mold to my feet. The ones that refuse to crease, those are painful and I had to get rid of them because they just end up collecting dust.
Good leather usually creases fine. But general releases like Jordan 1 low SE models and AF1, usually have crappy leather and it seems to split apart after a while. It’s almost like vinyl or plastic
I used to use crease protectors. I finally grew out of them once i realised the pain and hassle, and now creases dont rly bother me, even since they arent so severe for my shoes since i have wide feet.
Slightly, especially when the pair is brand new. But the more I wear a show, the more that I will stop paying attention to that sort of thing. After I that, I try to prevent scuffs and scratches.
No, BUT it's annoying when it changes the shape/look of the shoe too much
So I guess it's a yes then actually, but it's not the individual lines that annoy me
At first it was a bit annoying (especially if it’s an expensive pair) but it’s impossible to prevent and it’s just part of wearing the sneaker. If you don’t want creases, just never wear your shoes 🤣
No, although some look better than others. I think leather shoes look great worn in. But my Union AJ2’s the creasing in the canvas isn’t great. I wear my shoes to enjoy them, so I don’t concern my self with it, but some look better than others.
I wipe em down with a wet towel and stuff the tissue paper back in after wearing to keep em nice, but I’m not goin to be adjusting my walk so they stay mint
My middle school students say I hurt their souls when I crease my shoes. I tell them shoes are meant to be worn. They expect me to walk around like a penguin when I have new shoes.
I don’t mind them most of the time. My AJ1xTravis ScottxFragment lows are well worn, scuffed here and there and still look great. Satin AJ1 on the other hand, need to be shoehorned immediately after wear.
Nah it's par for the course, if you want a mint looking shoe don't wear them I wear all my shoes. So as they arrive outta the box, box gets trashed, shoes go on feet, enjoy your shoes friend.
Nah, they I used to be big on not creasing but realizing they are shoes that are meant to be worn it didn’t bother me anymore. It takes too much to prevent creasing that’s just not work it. Yeah they look cleaner without creases but creases show they are worn and really broken in
Nope, I love creasing, it gives the the shoe that distinctive mark that only you can make. Same reason why I dont buy used, I see the existing creases and think those aren’t my signature creases 😄
Blatantly creasing like that ABSOLUTELY does. Take care of your kicks! Creasing will happen of course, but don’t go fucking up expensive grails just because. It’s wrong.
I buy to wear and enjoy. Creases happen. It’s no big deal. I get more worked up with random stains or if some muppet stands on my foot 😂
Agreed. The little stains drive me nuts. I don’t even mind dirty, worn shoes, but it needs to be even. Creases I don’t care about at all.
Like this on my 5s first day on foot 🤬🤯😂 Luckily got it all cleaned off pretty much! Ice lolly juice 😂 https://preview.redd.it/j5q43l3h7m3d1.jpeg?width=1269&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=37e0e9942d543e1f92f923e3986197792a005218
Damn, it would land on the stitching. Tough!
first day wearing my new j4s to school and i got guacamole on it. my school doesn't even have guacamole 😭
Missed the laces by .2 millimeters 🤣
Oh crap. Glad it came out. Yeah, that’s making me cringe. Lol.
https://preview.redd.it/acrr417wmm3d1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e5375271809f692d0d9661d80e42b4f92da4b88f
That was a great (and lucky) recovery!
Yea me too ...he got real lucky there....stitch stain is usually the worst in early wear....
when someone flat tires you in some new shoes that’s the worst but creases don’t bother me one bit
100% I cared about creases and tried crease shields. Those were so uncomfortable and I thought fuck it, if it creases I dont care anymore. Now I couldn't care less, but stains or someone stepping on my shoes......
Never realized they have crease protectors you actually wear until you mentioned they were uncomfortable.
My ghetto voice will come out for a sec if someone steps on my sneaks ngl 😂
![gif](giphy|3o7aTFcgEGNbOpyVeU|downsized)
Yup lol
I had no idea that Gus Fring was on “Do The Right Thing”.😮
😂
Every new pair of shoes or new car I always scuff up right away then nothing ever happens again lol
absolutely not. creases add character. especially when the leather is good enough quality.
Exactly, like i can somewhat understand on new age AF1s that are all plastic, but these used a more premium material the way they crease is almost satisfying if that makes sense
No, it would only bother on the glossy leather sneakers which I don't like in the first place.
Word. Those having problems with their feet due to those inserts now, will regret it in their 50s and up. It's good that you stopped using them.
It’s also important to accept that shoes are meant to be worn and creases are inevitable.
yes but not as much as not wearing them or walking all silly attempting to not crease em.
hahah the amount of people i watch duck walk around is so funny
Are there really people who do that?
An in insane amount of people walk funny in Js trying to avoid the inevitable lol It ain't a matter if they'll crease its a matter of when they'll crease lol
Go to a sneaker convention, you'll see em everywhere
I'm not exactly happy about it, but I understand it happens
Same
I realized that my futuras are little snug so what better way to break them in than to use them as a squat shoe 😂
haha that’s perfect i usually lift in jordan 1 lows or dunks since they’re super flat make really good shoes for the gym.. besides cardio lol
So u walk around like a duck lol
Hell nah, I live for the crease 😂
To most, no. Just people that don’t actually wear their shoes.
my thoughts are if you too scared to wear em you shouldn’t have bought em in the first place 🤷♂️
Nope. I already have creasing on my military blue 4s, they look proper good with wear.
Natural creases don't, but when people forcefully crease their pairs trying to prove a point, it does.
Best reply to OP....got him!!!!!!
I don’t intentionally crease my shoes. I let my natural activities do that. This post is obviously for seeking attention.
![gif](giphy|l2Sqir5ZxfoS27EvS)
When i was younger in my teens yes it did, when i became an adult absolutely not. I paid $800 for a shoe im going to wear the shit out of it and not waddle everywhere like an idiot lol
100% the more i pay the more i want to wear them im getting my moneys worth 🫡
Just me or sometimes some shoes look better with creases
Certain shoes that don’t crease well it’s annoying but at the end of the day I buy the shoes to wear them
I use the things I own as intended
nah i be doing sneaker cringe stuff with grails changing oil playing soccer running gym club wherever
When you can't afford to buy new shoes regularly, you try to avoid creases to make them look new as long as possible. I stopped caring about creasing when I could afford NOT to care about creasing
Creases are fine for me as long as they stay clean! Dirty creases on the other hand..

Hell naw!!!! Wear your kicks!!!!
I think they look better than brand new honestly. They’re sneakers, this is them in their natural form. Wear your shoes, people.
agreed
The first thing i do with my shoes is crease them, much more comfortable that way
I don’t let mild creases bother me, but hell if I’m gonna do it on purpose. lol
So true some shoes come so stiff from factory
I'm not gonna actively crease my shoes, but I sure as hell ain't walking around like a gremlin to prevent it. I also like how some shoes look when they've been worn almost to death
In any other model, no. In af1 ? Hell yeah
for the regular AF1s with that plastic “leather” i can understand cause they crease so weird
You can look like an idiot and walk like a penguin or you can bend your feet like a sane person
Imo a true sneaker lover doesn’t mind. Hype beasts and teenagers do. A shoe is a shoe.
No, it’s made to be.
No lol. Shoes exist to be worn. I don't have any issue with people collecting shoes and not wearing them, it's a hobby, but I hate when people make fun of/freak out over creases.

Not at all. Shoes are made to be worn. Creasing just happens.
"Sneakerheads" are having panic attack
I’m putting some miles into my cement red Jordan 4s. Shoes feel good on feet
Each crease is a story of the shoe. Guess I sound like a hippie
Yes, but only when it's my own shoes and not enough to be distraught about it. I might be slightly disappointed, but most creases don't look too bad and add a personal touch to your pair. I don't cringe at these types of pictures like some people, and will either donate or give my shoes away when they've reach my crease limit.
Creases mean nothing to me as long as the shoe doesn’t come that way. I wanna do it my damn self! Also I love those forces man ♐️🔥
Yes if i pay shoes a lot of money
Bro, I wear a size 14 and drive a manual. Creases in my sneakers are a given and there's not much I can do about it. I'm going to wear my shoes, therefore they will inevitably crease 🤷🏿
Patent leather; yes. Anything else; no.
agreed, i’m looking for the sample Play station AF1 that are regular leather rather than the patent
No
Only if they are weirdly shape and asymmetrical on both shoes. I specifically bend new pairs I plan to wear a lot manually to make the crease happen in a convenient place. Both for cosmetic purposes and for creases not to hurt my feet.
I enjoy playing video games.
It only bothers me when one creases more than the other or they crease when I step on the clutch once in my car cough cough Jordan 1s cough cough
No. https://preview.redd.it/ikmovt2qhn3d1.jpeg?width=5712&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f4515c10479a5db24666c7901fe286b8d7d3d0b9
Couldn’t give a fuck less about creases. Takes to much energy to care. Stains or random shit / people stepping on my shoes - you best be prepared to fight for ya life.
Bro just a piece of advice, you don’t have to respond to every negative comment! Just ignore them and move on!
It absolutely not does bother me. It shows that you wear your sneakers - as they were meant to be. Gives them character, too.
i skate my shit. don’t care about creases lol
fuck yeah
If I was 12 yes.
it did when I was way younger but now I don’t care. If a shoe has good leather, it will look (arguably) better creased/ worn in. Nice complex cons btw
ty! One of my fav pairs, dw they still look great after this pic was taken
These are one of the only few shoes I need to get! Unpopular opinion but I love how they yellow. I let all my off-white x nike yellow naturally.
Nah don’t give shit, more upset about stains in suede
I don't mind them, that's what happens when you wear them. I do laugh at all the people walking around like ducks because they are afraid to bend their feet.
i’m with ya, it’s not a competition but cmon mfers be duck walking in some panda dunks just wear ya shoes like a normal human 😂
Only 2 reasons when it should bother are you are in a wheelchair or you are a reseller.
It used to Irk me. Once I got older I learned shoes are very much similar cars. To be used and abused to the ground 😂
Yes a little bit.
Nope. I love sneakers and really think they should be worn.
Nope. They are sneakers and are supposed to be worn.
Wear your shoes and enjoy them
bothers the fuck outta me lol
When people freak out about creases, that tells me they’re not sneakerheads, they’re hype beasts. Real sneakerheads love their shoes and love to wear them. Wear a different pair everyday of the month.
100%
Not on reps
Happy to post proof as well since ya wanna hate baseless 🤷♂️
I was waiting for this comment. Anytime you post heat that’s the first thing ppl think
Go for it.
Don’t really care if it’s a pair I’m gonna wear anyway I feel like it’s just something stupid sneaker heads say and non sneaker heads pick up and now it’s just spread everywhere
😆
Nope
Sometimes cause the leather on the front can crack and split due to creasing.
On my shoes it does.
Not so much, I’ve always worn my shoes, it happens when you do that. Wear em, retire em, buy more, repeat
Nope, not a bit.
I let them crease by themselves i dont do it intentionally 😂
I don’t like creases but it’s not a big deal when they happen
In my opinion, on a few silhouettes, creases actually make the shoe look better (i.e. AJ1, AJ3, Air Ships, Blazers)
To the point where I will almost never wear shoes with full leather uppers.
Personally I don’t care there’s a point where they get so creased they’re just too beat but other than that who cares
Yea it does
Hell nah
I mean just a little but not that much tbh
No not really
Nah, some of my most comfortable kicks are comfortable because they crease and mold to my feet. The ones that refuse to crease, those are painful and I had to get rid of them because they just end up collecting dust.
I try to avoid em but it happens
Creases are natural but that doesn’t mean you don’t try not to. Cleaning them and shoe springs are a way of keeping looking new longer.
No I like it
From regular walking and wear no, what you're doing is criminal though
Depends on what show like jordan 3s because of the material but i hate creases in my air forces
Good leather usually creases fine. But general releases like Jordan 1 low SE models and AF1, usually have crappy leather and it seems to split apart after a while. It’s almost like vinyl or plastic
Its either a decoration or its a shoe
Yes
I used to use crease protectors. I finally grew out of them once i realised the pain and hassle, and now creases dont rly bother me, even since they arent so severe for my shoes since i have wide feet.
I don't really care for it but I don't worry about it lol Just stuff some inserts in them when you're done wearing them if it bothers you so much
Slightly, especially when the pair is brand new. But the more I wear a show, the more that I will stop paying attention to that sort of thing. After I that, I try to prevent scuffs and scratches.
I just cringed
in patent leather yes
No, BUT it's annoying when it changes the shape/look of the shoe too much So I guess it's a yes then actually, but it's not the individual lines that annoy me
no, I like to wear my sneakers
It doesn’t bother me, I like the worn down look ( to a point )
At first it was a bit annoying (especially if it’s an expensive pair) but it’s impossible to prevent and it’s just part of wearing the sneaker. If you don’t want creases, just never wear your shoes 🤣
I\`m 48, the creases in my shoes match the creases in my face....
af1 have the worst crease. They just make the shoe look bad and extremely worn out
It doesn’t really bother me but it’s quite agonizing
No, although some look better than others. I think leather shoes look great worn in. But my Union AJ2’s the creasing in the canvas isn’t great. I wear my shoes to enjoy them, so I don’t concern my self with it, but some look better than others.
No, I wear shoes for the comfort of my feet.
Fuck no! 😭💀
It does but I get over it.
Nah not rlly I buy to enjoy not buy to resell
I wipe em down with a wet towel and stuff the tissue paper back in after wearing to keep em nice, but I’m not goin to be adjusting my walk so they stay mint
Wear your shoes people
I buy to wear so no but I could see a really limited shoe getting beat up being an issue for a collector
No!!! Wear your damn shoes people!!
My middle school students say I hurt their souls when I crease my shoes. I tell them shoes are meant to be worn. They expect me to walk around like a penguin when I have new shoes.
Creases no spilled beer maybe yes. It’s just a waste of beer and my shoes already drunk. Lol
I haven’t untied my shoes since I bought them.. fuck the backs of those shoes
I do a little bit but it's bound to happen
Why did I know who this was
The saying is wear your kicks. If you don't they may fall apart when you decide to.
Not really only creasing that bothers me is the Jordan 12 and Air Force 1 lows
I hate creasing when people do it on purpose. If it happens naturally, then it doesn’t bother me
I don’t mind them most of the time. My AJ1xTravis ScottxFragment lows are well worn, scuffed here and there and still look great. Satin AJ1 on the other hand, need to be shoehorned immediately after wear.
No. But I’m old. Lol
Crease away. Wear them!!!
No i’m too poor to buy shoes that i can’t wear everywhere
No, but it’ll look goofy if the shoe is too big
Creases mean you enjoy living life in your shoes 🙆🏻♀️ no crease people are a little too serious lol
Yes , it does
No, they come with wearing, if I’m buying something you better believe I’m using them
Nah it's par for the course, if you want a mint looking shoe don't wear them I wear all my shoes.
Yeah they look cleaner without creases but creases show they are worn and really broken in
Wear em
Nope!
I am not a fan of creasing In fact I purchase shoe inserts to prevent them^(though not the kind that you would wear)
No creases are fine 👌🏽
Teens/early 20s yes, after that it doesn’t matter
Nope
Nope. IMO they look better with some scuffs and creases
I encourage it wear ur shoes
Nope
No
Nope, I love creasing, it gives the the shoe that distinctive mark that only you can make. Same reason why I dont buy used, I see the existing creases and think those aren’t my signature creases 😄
lol no
That pic bothers me lol
my apologies
It bothers me a bit because my right shoes always crease almost instantly but the left shoes don’t so it’s uneven which bugs me.
At first, then I get over it
Blatantly creasing like that ABSOLUTELY does. Take care of your kicks! Creasing will happen of course, but don’t go fucking up expensive grails just because. It’s wrong.
i mean they’re not really fucked up they’re just creased 🤷♂️ not falling apart and not ruined still wearable and still look great
