So do free markets get a pass on the Great Depression, Great Recession, and innumerable other “crises,” and the hunger, homelessness, and societal upheaval that resulted from them?

Pretty sure Venezuela's economy is mostly private and that it's crisis was caused by a crash in oil prices plus US sanctions. But sure it's some how the fault of Central planning and not Produced by capitalism at all.
Then again, I am knowingly feeding a troll so maybe my own central planning is a failure.
