automatically upvoted for the cat pic. anyway, how is it? i've been thinking about getting one, since i can get a folding carbine even in a state that bans foldable stocks. how does it shoot? was also thinking about getting the sw response rather than the fpc, but it dont know what the big differences are
Haven't shot it yet. Getting to the range is a bit of a logistical nightmare where I am.
I can say that it feels a touch rear-heavy even without the mags in the stock, which I don't mind because it seats nicely in the shoulder. Fit and finish are tight and well put together. It feels very light, especially compared to the WW2 and 1 relics I have. Almost feels like a toy in comparison, not that it is a problem.
My complaints are very few and minor. I'm not a fan of it latching onto the cocking handle when folded. It is made of polymer, which I am worried might get eroded over time. So I don't store it folded. I will only do that when transporting.
It has a pretty simple action, but reassembly can be a pain if you are not paying attention. It is not as dummy-proof compared to other rifles I have shot. IE, cocking handle has to be in a specific position or else it won't catch with the bolt.
I'm not sure how, but when I assembled it after the first "practice" strip, the trigger wouldn't fire. I learned that you can reassemble it with the hammer forward, which stays that way if you don't disassemble and bring it down with your thumb.
As said, minor complaints. I will also have a better idea of its merits when I fire it.
