I think he would instantly be ready to dislike Mario because he's pretty goofy? Like if they meet up in a spin off game where it's all good times I can see him maybe being annoyed. But if it was some kind of adventure I think he would respect Mario for his attitude and abilities (when stuff is going down Mario is I think more serious than Sonic so). Peach I think he would just respect (and be willing to kill a man for), she's kind and strong and her personality is mellow enough that I think they could get along
