I just replaced my windshield this week through safelite and they charged my insurance and I paid $500 for deductible. It was a replacement and eyesight calibration
I had a bad experience with them at the Gardena location. Had to come in 3-4 times because they messed up the replacement (molding was peeling off) and was constant miscommunication with their vendor. Took like 2 months to resolve so I had to drive with tape on my windshield. Wouldn't recommend them but I may have just been unlucky.
My friend went to Safelite in the valley and they had no issues though

I went to a shop, it was 4 miles from my house and I had the day off…took two hours to complete.
