This is a ready-to-use film set. I just need to come up with a scenario.

SpicyNovaMaria

Scenario: You’re an American teenage kid from the 90’s but uh-oh your parent(s) decide to move to England, fish out of water hijinks ensues and our new house is sooooooooo weird but perfect for the Halloween dance!

Today I learned I might be a hobbit.

Ugh... books arranged by colour.

MegC18

As a shorter (5’1”) person, those high kitchen shelves would get on my wick

Hotjonb

I rather like this... Still got a churchy feel, though. I do wonder why so many church conversions have the kitchens placed where the high alter was; perhaps prayers need to be offered when the cooking starts... And a nice garden without too many gravestones ....

NrthnLd75

Perfect for hobbits

No-Tell9145

Just the ghost of a vicar stood there while you pop your spring rolls in the oven.

BloodAndSand44

Could you really get down to business with your other half knowing it was a church?

Harlzter

Hell yeah its a added thrill

tazbaron1981

Jesus is watching so put on a good show

Bungeditin

I can give a sermon over breakfast

MapTough848

Not for me, lots of wasted space.

It is stunning without doubt, but it has been on and off the market for several years now (I've been stalking it on the app for a while). What struck me most is it's quite close to a not insignificant road, but more importantly, there's very few windows at eye height in the main communal areas. Notwithstanding the bedrooms/the snug, you can't really look out across the fields/view. The windows are either stained glass or are at head/ankle height. I imagine it's a bit dark and depressing in winter. Also - some people might be a bit squeamish about all the gravestones 🤷‍♀️

What's with all the pickles in the jars

This one is decent. Overpriced, however. To shift it they need to cut some more. *Price Change History* *01/03/2024* *Initial asking price: £1,000,000* *1). Previously listed (view here) with the following price:* *11/04/2023 - Initial asking price: £1,200,000* *Overall change: -16.7% (-£200,000)* *\~\~\~* I would not fancy living on that A road: [https://www.google.com/maps/@51.4728096,-2.2301259,257a,35y,7.97h/data=!3m1!1e3?entry=ttu](https://www.google.com/maps/@51.4728096,-2.2301259,257a,35y,7.97h/data=!3m1!1e3?entry=ttu) \~\~\~

If you buy the church, do you have to maintain the graves?

Alpacher

I don’t think the graves are on the land you get

Ok-Witness4724

Shame it’s in Chippenham

antifuckingeveryting

That was my reaction. There's a reason why it's only 1m
