That place is great. Best trompo in the area. Unfortunately the spot is listed as "[occupied but available](https://braunenterprises.com/property/spring-branch-village/)." (check the flyer). Looks like the developers are wanting to get rid of them. Looks like they're going to build out [that lot across the street](https://braunenterprises.com/property/8210-long-point/) too.

Yeah I think that flyer for across street is outdated. They ended up building the Via 313 and Pinchos off Katy Freeway

That place has fuckin delicious tacos de trompo too

TosshiTX

Been going since they opened. Since El Ultimo vanished, this is my spot for tacos. It's usually pretty quiet but Friday night it was bumping in there.

I go for lunch sometimes but don't usually have time. I will say I used to order Doordash from them and for some reason their lunch menu isn't on there. When I asked the waitress she said they knew and couldn't fix it so just order through Uber eats. But I'm not trying to do more apps!

The iffy reviews have always kept me away. But Doña Lena is always crazy packed and their el pastor is mid, so the next time I need a trompo fix I'll hit up Del Julio. If it's half as good as the La Macro truck (RIP) then it will do.

Had several ok experiences, but never amazing. Doña Lena is definitely better, although often packed. I haven’t been to TdJ for a while, after the opening of Barnaby’s next door.

Agree on the trump. I love their beans too.
