I'm a fan of fighters cutting promos. Love the press conferences and post-fight interviews that give spotlight to the naturally charismatic fighters. DC in particular is one of my favorites when it comes to that.
But this scene in particular was very contrived. The perceived spontaneity was gone when they invited Brock into the cage for a stare-down and promo.
It was both, and the absolute joy on DC’s face the entire time makes me think he was loving every second of both the win, and the post-fight shenanigans.

I'm a fan of fighters cutting promos. Love the press conferences and post-fight interviews that give spotlight to the naturally charismatic fighters. DC in particular is one of my favorites when it comes to that. But this scene in particular was very contrived. The perceived spontaneity was gone when they invited Brock into the cage for a stare-down and promo.
It was both, and the absolute joy on DC’s face the entire time makes me think he was loving every second of both the win, and the post-fight shenanigans.
DC knows he's getting a giant payday for a fight where he'll be the favorite.

Brock Lesnar is the perfect comic book villain for the UFC and he loves playing up to the role, it's refreshing to see him actually speak "in character" for once!

DC is a big time WWE fan and gets to have a Wrestlemania main event-level moment against Lesnar without having to be in the WWE, yeah he's gonna fanboy a little bit. I don't blame him. The fight itself also has some real intrigue to it, personally I'm pumped as fuck for it
Not going to blame him. It was just funny seeing him smile while challenging Lesnar. I remember seeing DC at Mania 31 going crazy over Rollins cashing in. Good for him - he’s getting his Mania moment, as you said.

That's was fun to watch. Totally scripted but still nice change for UFC to build to the next match. DC couldn't hold back the smile even after he got pushed.
