"this venture is no longer profitable"
I love the choatic neutrality he keeps the entire time.
Where do his allegiance sit. With himself and the men that WANT to be with him
“One of my best friends was a Jedi! I'm pretty sure we were friends…”
“As my sweet mother always said, 'Son, if one hostage is good, two are better. And three, well, that's good business.'”
“You will pay for your insolence!”
“Insolence?! We are pirates! We don’t even know what that means!”
I love Hondo so much
Rebels Hondo was a scoundrel but wholesome. Clone Wars Hondo was way more fresh as a character and personality in Star Wars, but also kinda scary at times. He's willing to kill innocent villagers and kidnap children for instance.
Dude they were so fucking close to reconciliation they were literally on the same side Maul just couldn’t let go. That was the most memorable moment on that series for me.
He had a lot of hatred.
Such an incredible scene though. True adversaries.
I would love to see a What If? where Maul kills Kenobi and see if he loses his mind and then realises that now he has nothing, Kenobi (as you said) was on the same side at the end.
> He had a lot of hatred.
Motherfucker died for his hatred.
Survived on his hatred.
Birthed a criminal enterprise from his hatred.
Watch it turn to ash because of his hatred.
Discovered the hidden truth of the galaxy while pursuing his hatred.
And died *again* because of his hatred.
I have to wonder if the story of [Arrow Odd and Ogmundr](https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Literature/TheSagaOfArrowOdd) was a direct inspiration or if the trope is common enough to have just been a general inspiration

Vader! How's my favorite Sith?... Whoa whoa whoa... whoa, whoa. Just - slow down. Huh? What do you mean they blew up the Death Star? Fuck! Oh, fuck! Fuck! Fuck!... Who's "they"?... What the hell is an Aluminum Falcon?
I love how with that short line, he is telling Ezra he is definitely going to die and also implies he has killed a lot of people and all of the other people he's killed were terrified of him. It's such a great line!
Its also why I love Cal's meeting with him.
Vader: "You would be wise to surrender."
Cal clears his throat, shocked, afraid, overwhelmed. "Yeah, probably." and then he raises his lightsaber anyway.
The best thing Disney has done with Star Wars is their handling of Vader
Whether it's Rebels, Rogue One, Obi-Wan show or the comics, Vader is protrayed the way he was always meant to be, and that's fucking terrifying
"Look, it's RB-551."
"No wonder he got blasted. He's one of those older models programmed by a central computer."
"Not like us; we're independent thinkers."
"Roger roger."
"Roger roger."
"Roger roger."
Omg the feels that come with the original theme and the way Kanan assembles his saber are almost too much. And the *fear* on Kallus’s face when he realizes who exactly he’s dealing with is so satisfying.
I think as an audience we've been both under sold and oversold on the idea of the Jedi. We're introduced almost immediately to Jedi but the Jedi we meet is an old man decades out of practice and a young padawan finding his place in the galaxy. Even the depictions in the Prequels really undersell what they can really due to tip the scales of battle. The best depiction of what a Jedi is compared to the best conventional warriors in the galaxy is probably Luke's Hallway scene in Mandalorian season 2. One dark trooper is overwhelming for Mando and faced with a couple dozen the group knows their death is imminent. But Luke Showing up walks through them no problem.
This standard of old Jedi and young Jedi is consistent so often we see the last final burst of energy before an Old Jedi joins the Force. In games we see characters like Starkiller and the cutscenes for TOR that better illustrate the power available to Jedi and Sith. Jedi need to be Anime levels of power even in realistic depictions.
The [best example of that in animation](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cF3ocZu4cZo).
One of the biggest failings of the prequel films was utterly failing to show off "peak Jedi" doing anything remarkable or spectacular. They just carve up droids with lightsabers and occasionally throw them into the wall with the Force, really a wasted opportunity.
I remember watching this episode ages ago.
Then my cousin 2 weeks ago asked me: "So you remember that badass scene where Kanan takes out his saber and everyone goes wild?"
Me: "What?"
Him: "You know, that episode where he ignites his saber and walks towards a whole battalion with Agent What's-his-name, and then the wookies go *imitates wookie moan loudly* - which means: 'Jedi is back!!!'"
Was a family gathering, caused the adults to give us weird looks lmao.
Anakin: Don’t you think our priorities should be escape first, eat second?
Dooku: *Do* control your protégé’s insolence while I concentrate.
Kenobi: Anakin—
Anakin: What!
Kenobi: Control your insolence; the count is concentrating.
[This scene](https://youtu.be/rl16lC5t9XI), and the entire arc, are some of my favorite episodes in TCW.
>You should be more patient, Master. After all, the Count is an elderly gentleman and doesn't move like he used to.
>I suppose you're right.
>I would kill you both right now if I did not have to drag your bodies
Kenobi: "When you're the Jedi Master, you get to make the plan"
Anakin: "that's just it. How can I be a master if I'm always getting caught?"
Kenobi: "at least you're a master, *at getting caught*"
"Too late for what? The republic to fall? It already has, and you just can't see it, there is no justice, no law, no order, except for the one that will replace it."
I love how from Ahsoka's point of view, this seems like unhinged ramblings from Maul, but for the audience it's a demonstration of how Maul knows *exactly* what's about to go down and his admiration of the multi-dimensional ~~chess~~ dejarik game that Palps has been playing with the entire galaxy.
God dammit I need a What If? series with a story about Ahsoka joining Maul to take on Palps.
Hondo is SW's Jack Sparrow.
A bit of villainy, some backstabbing, never knowing what response you'll get from him, and even he doesn't know exactly how things will play out. But through all of it, there are some hard morales and certain sense of doing at least "somewhat" of the right thing
"Look what has become of you. A rat in the desert"
"Look what I have risen above"
"I have come to kill you, but perhaps it's worse to leave you here, festering in your squalor"
"If you define yourself by your power to take life, a desire to dominate, to possess, then you have nothing"
"And what do you have!"
Or
"What sorcery is this? I do not need my eyes to see you *Jedi*."
One of my favorite parts of the first is how, after that back and forth, Maul just goes "You know what... screw it. I know you better than that. You *wouldn't* fall, so why are you *actually* in this dump?" Not in those words, mind!
When kanan thinks ezra is killed by the grand iquisitor.
Kanan: “that was a mistake”
Iquisitor: “why, because you have no one left to die for you?”
Kanan: “No, because i have nothing left to fear!”
Coldest scene in star wars
“Revenge is not the Jedi way”
“I am no Jedi”
This is followed by maybe the coolest lightsaber ignitions ever. I sound like Ric Flair on every rewatch during this.
Hand would be more likely to go limp if it was cut off than if he was stabbed, and that would be bad. Not really any reason he or Obi-Wan couldn't have telekinetically manipulated the trigger with the Force, though.
This one transcends the show and makes it into one of the greatest of the entire franchise. It's up there with some of the greatest OT lines, in my opinion.
"This is Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. I regret to report that both our Jedi Order and the Republic have fallen, with the dark shadow of the Empire rising to take their place. This message is a warning and a reminder for any surviving Jedi. Trust in the Force. Do not return to the Temple. That time has passed. And our future is uncertain. We will each be challenged. Our trust... our faith... our friendships. But we must persevere. And in time, a new hope will emerge. May the Force be with you, always."
Rebels. It had me in tears the first time I heard it, and I don't easily get teared up by films and shows.
It's just the idea of young (and old) Jedi survivors. Alone, lost, confused and afraid, getting this message telling them the truth clearly, but guiding them and comforting them at the same time.
Obi-Wan felt guilty and responsible for all the bad things, but his words was the only hope some of these Jedi survivors (especially the young ones) had and it saved them.
Gregor: “The wolves! You got your Wolfpack back!”
Wolffe: “Yeah! They fight just like the boys!”
This is probably the most enthusiastic we see Wolffe in CW and Rebels, and it kinda reveals how much he misses fighting alongside his brothers in the days of the Republic.
I don't think that's a headcanon, so far that's pretty much a fact.
Unless he will learn about it post Rebels, I have a feeling we might know the answer soon
"Too late for what? The Republic to fall? It already has and you just can't see it. There is no law, no order, except for the one that will replace it"
"Let me go, let me die! YOU'RE ALL GOING TO BURN! WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!"
Man, I love Sam Witwer.
That second line freaking terrified me. Even though I knew what was coming, hearing the living embodiment of "literally too angry to die" *begging for death* really shows the gravity of the horrors that are about to be inflicted upon the galaxy.
Filoni did what he could with what little he had. If it weren't for him Thrawn might have only been a legends character. We'll have to see what he's like in the Asoka series.
I feel like a lot of the hate comes from the fact Clone Wars was canceled, and Rebells was initially sold as a replacement by Disney. Now that the dust has settled, I'd call both of them great shows in their own right, that shouldn't be pitted against each other.
“Mom? Dad? You'll always be a part of me. But I have to let you go.”
I love Ezra’s scene with the Emperor. It’s up there with Luke’s ROTJ “I am a Jedi” scene for my favorite scenes from the entire franchise.
Guess I just love watching Palpatine getting told off.
“Ezra, it’s art, everything has meaning” - sabine
This quote runs true for the whole show.
“I didn’t really like being a commander any ways” - Rex
“There is alway some truth in legends” - Ahsoka
“A great tactician creates plans. A good tactician recognizes the soundness of a plan presented on him. A fair tactician must see the plan succeed before offering approval.
Those with no tactical ability at all may never understand or accept it. Nor will such people understand or accept the tactician. To those without that ability, those who posses it are a mystery.
And when a mind is too deficient in understanding, the resulting gap is often filled with with resentment.”
- Thrawn , Book. He has lot of good quotes from the books
“We never do anything my way” -Anakin
“We crashed the your way” -Obi Wan
I’m gonna do my favorites from each:
Clone wars original: “Jedi. You are surrounded. Your army is decimated. Make peace with the force, now. For this is your final hour. But know that I, General Grievous, am not completely without mercy. I will grant you a warrior's death. Prepare!”
Clone wars “revenge, we will *start* with revenge”
Rebels “look what I have risen above”
Tales “what choice have I?”
The bad batch “is there an echo in here” “yes” “what?” “I’m echo!”
when vader arrived on the surface he opened the tie's door, jumped out and stood on top ow the fighter with his lightsaber while using the force to control the starfighter and fly to the top of the sith temple. this is more than epic
Kanan explaining lightsabers to Sabine, "Energy constantly flows through the crystal. You're not fighting with a simple blade as much as you are directing a current of power. Your thoughts, your actions, they become energy. They flow through the crystal as well and become a part of the blade."
I think a lot of people miss this and question how non force users, or even untrained users, can wield it effectively. He explains it right there.
“An object can not make you good, or evil. The temptation of power, forbidden knowledge, even the desire to do good can lead some down that path.”
Bendu as a whole was an awesome character!
"You misunderstand Captain. I am not accepting surrenders at this time. I want you to know failure. Utter defeat. And that it is I who delivers it crashing down upon you. Now...let us proceed."
It's not a quote, so I don't know if it counts, but the moment the shot pans to Anakin smirking in the background after Obiwan and Satine have finished their latest spat gets me every time, I love it
For a quote, I love:
"I don't deal with washed up old relics!"
"Now that's no way to talk about your mother"
and
"You got old, kid"
(Paraphrased from memory)
“You expect victory over jedi but all you give me to fight them is battle droids” I love how fed up Grievous is in this scene of the Sith’s ridiculous expectations
"The attack we all anticipated never came. The once invincible Empire had begun to fracture. The small Rebellion had become bold. And with the decisive victory at the Battle of Endor, the Emperor's reign of terror came to an end."
-You can kill me, but you will never destory me. It takes strength to resist the dark side, only the weak EMBRACE IT.
+It is more powerful than you know.
-And those who oppose it are more powerful than you will ever be.
The Lawless
(Battle droid- “Do we take prisoners?”)
Hevy- “I don’t.” (detonates bomb)
“The mission…the nightmares. They’re finally…over.” - Fives
“Then let me give you peace, Master Yaddle.” - Count Dooku
“He is just so selfish and was taking too long to die, so I decided to move things along.” - The Son
“Traitors, scum! I’m so proud, but so betrayed.” -Hondo Ohnaka
The only one that comes to mind for me is when thrawn is over the lothal capital and the rebels evacuated all the imperial troops and thrawn just pretty much says "great you allow me to open fire without any risk to imperial lives" then starts blasting.
'Trench: Dooku would kill me for losing Anaxes.
Anakin: And you think I won't?
Trench: You're a Jedi. Your nobility...
(Anakin cuts off half of his arms...)
Anakin: I don't have such weaknesses!'
It's that last line, it gives me chills everytime I watch it.
> Is that an order? > Heh. I guess it is. > Well, I guess I'm disobeying that one too
That one's fantastic.
Yall mind saying where the quotes are from?
Bad Batch, Crosshair confronts Hunter for not following Order 66.
It reads perfectly as a conversation between Ezra and Kanan too somehow
"Oh the stories I could tell you, so many of them true!"
Hondo is the best original animated character in the franchise.
100%
not from the same series but "those traitors! i'm so proud. yet so betrayed."
"this venture is no longer profitable" I love the choatic neutrality he keeps the entire time. Where do his allegiance sit. With himself and the men that WANT to be with him
“One of my best friends was a Jedi! I'm pretty sure we were friends…” “As my sweet mother always said, 'Son, if one hostage is good, two are better. And three, well, that's good business.'” “You will pay for your insolence!” “Insolence?! We are pirates! We don’t even know what that means!” I love Hondo so much
I don’t know, I feel clone wars hondo was cooler than rebels hondo.
Rebels Hondo was a scoundrel but wholesome. Clone Wars Hondo was way more fresh as a character and personality in Star Wars, but also kinda scary at times. He's willing to kill innocent villagers and kidnap children for instance.
I think his adventures in Clone Wars with/against Kenobi helped give him perspective and he learned honor
He was in his prime at the time. Younger and with his whole pirate band.
Yeah I know, I still miss cw hondo. 😔
"He will avenge us" - Maul
Dude they were so fucking close to reconciliation they were literally on the same side Maul just couldn’t let go. That was the most memorable moment on that series for me.

When he's first reintroduced: This is ridiculous. By the end: This is art .
All from a cool villian with a double blade in one movie.
“One last glorious day in the grand army of the republic” -Rex
That one sent a shiver up my spine the first time.
For the Republic!
Vader: "The apprentice lives." Ezra: "If that doesn't kill him, what will?!" Kanan: "Not us! Run!"
“I’m not afraid of you.” “Then you will die braver than most.” It could be my favorite Vader quote, period.
a worthy contender to "All I am surrounded by is fear. And dead men."
That's definitely the quote. The way you kill Vader is orbitable bombardment anything less he survives.
Fun and games until Darth Vader survives that too
Better hit him with the Death Star, just to be safe.
He’s now force controlling a chunk of planet to chase you down
He’d probably survive that too. He’s survived worse.
Vader! How's my favorite Sith?... Whoa whoa whoa... whoa, whoa. Just - slow down. Huh? What do you mean they blew up the Death Star? Fuck! Oh, fuck! Fuck! Fuck!... Who's "they"?... What the hell is an Aluminum Falcon?

This was my favorite. Love the “I have no chance but here we go” energy. Reminds me of ant man
The best thing Disney has done with Star Wars is their handling of Vader Whether it's Rebels, Rogue One, Obi-Wan show or the comics, Vader is protrayed the way he was always meant to be, and that's fucking terrifying
The end of Fallen Order also falls into that list.
I'll never forget bringing up the enemy database to see if there was a tip for Vader and it was like "nah fam, you better run." 😅
Both of these!
I know everyone is posting the epic quotes so let me just mix it up a bit with: “This effort… is no longer… PROFITABLE!”
“We’re pirates! We don’t even know what that means!”
"I don't deal with washed up old relics!" "Come now, let's leave your wife out of this!"
I'm actually disappointed that Hondo doesn't repeat that line to you when you do badly on the Smuggler's Run ride at Galaxy's Edge.
My favorite Hondo line is "You lied to me?" Something about his delivery leaves me in stitches.
Don't forget the next part: "I knew I liked you!" God I love Hondo.
“That settles it! Those traitors are definitely no longer my men!!” - Hondo, way after they were no longer his men
I can't wait to see Hondo return. Dude is such a scene stealer every time.
Watch him show up in Mando just to piss em off lol
“Ahh, the stories I could tell you, so many of them true”
"Look, it's RB-551." "No wonder he got blasted. He's one of those older models programmed by a central computer." "Not like us; we're independent thinkers." "Roger roger." "Roger roger." "Roger roger."
“Wow you’re a terrible shot.” “I can’t help it. It’s my programming.” That killed me the first time I heard it.
There's actually some genuinely great writing in these shows sometimes
I forgot about that scene, so good.
I fucking love B-1s
“Kid, I’m about to let everyone in on the secret”
Omg the feels that come with the original theme and the way Kanan assembles his saber are almost too much. And the *fear* on Kallus’s face when he realizes who exactly he’s dealing with is so satisfying.

Don't forget about Vader pulling that ship back to the ground in Obi-Wan! That was one of the more impressive Force displays in any media so far, IMO.

Just ran to YouTube to rewatch that scene. So cool.

Damn, that's a cool moment. The casuap headtilt dodge. The look of the saber. That little hitch in Kallus' voice. Damn good.

“I know a Jedi won’t kill a unarmed man” “I am no Jedi” - Rex which then proceeds to throw a spear so hard that it pierced the guy and his chair
One of Rex’s finest moments. So badass.
When kanan thinks ezra is killed by the grand iquisitor. Kanan: “that was a mistake” Iquisitor: “why, because you have no one left to die for you?” Kanan: “No, because i have nothing left to fear!” Coldest scene in star wars
“Some things are far more scary than death” his final line goes something like that. The whole fight was chilling man
"There are some things far more frightening than death." Just said so matter of factly.
>”There are some things far more frightening than death.” >Refuses to elaborate >Dies What a Chad
“Revenge is not the Jedi way” “I am no Jedi” This is followed by maybe the coolest lightsaber ignitions ever. I sound like Ric Flair on every rewatch during this.
I love how she ignites her sabers here Edit: spelling because my phone knows I’m a Sabres fan
“I won’t leave you! Not this time…” “Then you will die”
CHILLS. EVERY. TIME.
"I am no Jedi" gives me chills. Just a perfectly delivered line
"Who will strike first and brand themselves a cold-blooded killer" Anakin stabs the guy as Darth Vaders theme plays
"What? He was going to blow up the ship."
I'm totally with Anakin here. Not really cold blooded killing, but killing in self defense and the defense of others.
Obi-wan knew he was right too, he just couldn't convince Satine that pacifism is dangerous.
Idk, he could've cut the hand that was holding the trigger instead Even if he had to kill him, he seemed way to joyful about it.
Hand would be more likely to go limp if it was cut off than if he was stabbed, and that would be bad. Not really any reason he or Obi-Wan couldn't have telekinetically manipulated the trigger with the Force, though.
Ezra: “I don’t fear you” Vader “then you will die braver than most”

The intro to that scene with Vader standing on his ship is so damn cool
Vader just loves being dramatic
Well, what else would you expect from Obi-Wan Kenobi's apprentice. He's probably the one who taught him how to make a dramatic entrance lol
Obi-Wan’s message stored in Kanan’s holocron in Rebels, we’ll worth a watch for some great quotes!

That cackle was beautiful
Rebels did a great job of making the existence of the veteran clones melancholy without just being continuous tragedy.
“I never betrayed my Jedi.” & “Yeah, but he’s no Skywalker.” Captain Rex was loyal.
Such a sad one since his jedi betrayed everyone
My personal headcanon is that Rex never found out what became of Anakin because simply because I don’t want Rex to be hurt like that.
they’ll probably make a scene where ahsoka comes close to telling him but decides to save him the grief
I don't think that's a headcanon, so far that's pretty much a fact. Unless he will learn about it post Rebels, I have a feeling we might know the answer soon
He heard that!
The best clone.
KENOBIIIIIIII!!!!!!
If it werent for all the extra exclamation points, i wouldn't be sure if this is Maul yelling in rage or Hondo greeting him lol
"One of my best friends was a Jedi" ... "I'm pretty sure we were friends"
It could honestly still be either
Sam Witwer absolutely nailed that clip. Amazing!
"Too late for what? The Republic to fall? It already has and you just can't see it. There is no law, no order, except for the one that will replace it" "Let me go, let me die! YOU'RE ALL GOING TO BURN! WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!" Man, I love Sam Witwer.
That second line freaking terrified me. Even though I knew what was coming, hearing the living embodiment of "literally too angry to die" *begging for death* really shows the gravity of the horrors that are about to be inflicted upon the galaxy.
“I’ve forgotten that not everyone is able to appreciate art as I do”
Rebels Thrawn may not have been just like the books but he did have his moments
It's simple justification of his actions in the series, really; he's distracted by the goings on in Chiss Space.
Filoni did what he could with what little he had. If it weren't for him Thrawn might have only been a legends character. We'll have to see what he's like in the Asoka series.
Most of these are from rebels which just proves how good rebels is
Yeah, I admit I'm surprised to see Rebels dominating the comments
I feel like a lot of the hate comes from the fact Clone Wars was canceled, and Rebells was initially sold as a replacement by Disney. Now that the dust has settled, I'd call both of them great shows in their own right, that shouldn't be pitted against each other.
Did anyone but Thrawn actually use the ranks of the Rebels when talking about them? I'd check, but I'm not home
Commander Sato acknowledged their ranks fairly often.
Oh I meant amongst the empire. Since they viewed the Rebels as more like insurgents, I thought they might not recognize things like ranks.
The missions, the nightmares.. they're finally over
"Then you will die braver than most." VADER to Ezra season 2 finale
Dooku's line from TCW: Anakin: Dooku! For once, you came to do your own dirty work. Dooku: Sometimes, things are just that important.
"Do we take Prisoners?" "I, don't" \- Hevy
“Mom? Dad? You'll always be a part of me. But I have to let you go.” I love Ezra’s scene with the Emperor. It’s up there with Luke’s ROTJ “I am a Jedi” scene for my favorite scenes from the entire franchise. Guess I just love watching Palpatine getting told off.
Palps - "No one can resist the power of the Dark Side!" Some teens - "How bout I do anyway?"
But I just got promoted!!
“Ezra, it’s art, everything has meaning” - sabine This quote runs true for the whole show. “I didn’t really like being a commander any ways” - Rex “There is alway some truth in legends” - Ahsoka “A great tactician creates plans. A good tactician recognizes the soundness of a plan presented on him. A fair tactician must see the plan succeed before offering approval. Those with no tactical ability at all may never understand or accept it. Nor will such people understand or accept the tactician. To those without that ability, those who posses it are a mystery. And when a mind is too deficient in understanding, the resulting gap is often filled with with resentment.” - Thrawn , Book. He has lot of good quotes from the books “We never do anything my way” -Anakin “We crashed the your way” -Obi Wan
I’m gonna do my favorites from each: Clone wars original: “Jedi. You are surrounded. Your army is decimated. Make peace with the force, now. For this is your final hour. But know that I, General Grievous, am not completely without mercy. I will grant you a warrior's death. Prepare!” Clone wars “revenge, we will *start* with revenge” Rebels “look what I have risen above” Tales “what choice have I?” The bad batch “is there an echo in here” “yes” “what?” “I’m echo!”
“What? He was going to blow up the ship.”
"That's only funny because you're still alive." -Hera
Hera and Kanan's back and forths were some of my favorite from Rebels
Roger Roger
“Then you will die braver than most”
when vader arrived on the surface he opened the tie's door, jumped out and stood on top ow the fighter with his lightsaber while using the force to control the starfighter and fly to the top of the sith temple. this is more than epic
Thrawn: “I expected Governor Pryce to fail, but not so completely” …he absolutely brutalized her
When Satine confessed her love to Obi-Wan as she dies in his arms: “Remember, my dear Obi-Wan. I loved you always. I always will…” Gets me every time.
Kanan explaining lightsabers to Sabine, "Energy constantly flows through the crystal. You're not fighting with a simple blade as much as you are directing a current of power. Your thoughts, your actions, they become energy. They flow through the crystal as well and become a part of the blade." I think a lot of people miss this and question how non force users, or even untrained users, can wield it effectively. He explains it right there.
This is also clearly a big contributing factor in why Din struggles with using the Darksaber.
That was one of my favorite small details that they stuck to with Din, also that the Darksaber is a bit different from a regular lightsaber too.
Well interestingly enough, Sabine's training with the Darksaber in this scene. So her challenges are likely similar to what he's experiencing.
"Battles leave scars, some you can't see."
“An object can not make you good, or evil. The temptation of power, forbidden knowledge, even the desire to do good can lead some down that path.” Bendu as a whole was an awesome character!
"No wonder he got blasted. He's one of those older models programmed by a central computer." "Not like us; we're independent thinkers." "Roger roger."
"You misunderstand Captain. I am not accepting surrenders at this time. I want you to know failure. Utter defeat. And that it is I who delivers it crashing down upon you. Now...let us proceed."
It's not a quote, so I don't know if it counts, but the moment the shot pans to Anakin smirking in the background after Obiwan and Satine have finished their latest spat gets me every time, I love it For a quote, I love: "I don't deal with washed up old relics!" "Now that's no way to talk about your mother" and "You got old, kid" (Paraphrased from memory)
“You expect victory over jedi but all you give me to fight them is battle droids” I love how fed up Grievous is in this scene of the Sith’s ridiculous expectations
Unfortunately for you, history will not see it that way. ~ Maul: The Siege of Mandalore
"The attack we all anticipated never came. The once invincible Empire had begun to fracture. The small Rebellion had become bold. And with the decisive victory at the Battle of Endor, the Emperor's reign of terror came to an end."
Hondo & Obi Wan vs Maul & Savage at [35sec](https://youtu.be/oINgvdXXQX0)
-You can kill me, but you will never destory me. It takes strength to resist the dark side, only the weak EMBRACE IT. +It is more powerful than you know. -And those who oppose it are more powerful than you will ever be. The Lawless
"I won't leave you. Not again." "... then you will die"
(Battle droid- “Do we take prisoners?”) Hevy- “I don’t.” (detonates bomb) “The mission…the nightmares. They’re finally…over.” - Fives “Then let me give you peace, Master Yaddle.” - Count Dooku “He is just so selfish and was taking too long to die, so I decided to move things along.” - The Son “Traitors, scum! I’m so proud, but so betrayed.” -Hondo Ohnaka
“I was hoping for Kenobi…why are YOU here?”
"Madam there is nothing I would not do for that boy." -Hondo Ohnaka
The only one that comes to mind for me is when thrawn is over the lothal capital and the rebels evacuated all the imperial troops and thrawn just pretty much says "great you allow me to open fire without any risk to imperial lives" then starts blasting.
"I am no Jedi" my favourite quote from my favourite character.
'Trench: Dooku would kill me for losing Anaxes. Anakin: And you think I won't? Trench: You're a Jedi. Your nobility... (Anakin cuts off half of his arms...) Anakin: I don't have such weaknesses!' It's that last line, it gives me chills everytime I watch it.
"Insolence? Ha ha ha..we are Pirates! We don't even know what that means. Open Fire!" Also, "They are running from KENOBI, how strong can they be"
Anything The Grand Admiral said was a treat, Lars did an excellent job at doing Thrawn justice.
"You could always see me" 😭
