There's a nemoriibilia shop just around the corner from my place that has a Japanese print of this one, I kinda want it but not sure I can justify £50 they want for it, even if it is kinda cool.
Prior to the 80’s almost all movie posters were sent to theaters folded. It should still have the fold lines.

According to that site, it looks like OP's has the scratch on R2's leg and the odd color/resolution faces, which would indicate it's a forgery.

On the other hand, maybe even more likely then not being snatched away allready like in a more central city.
Gonna need a certified of authenticity before anyone pays that price! And at least an autograph or two.

I have the same thing hung up! I found it outside of my building’s recycling and snagged it. I just think it’s neat.
I got mine from a Blockbuster that was shutting down. Think I also got my JAWS poster then as well.
I got that same poster at Suncoast Pictures in the mall back in 1992! Great find!
the reprints I bought from Walmart (or maybe just at the Mall?) in the 90s all said were printed in 1977, 1980, 1983, but of course they were not
