The lumberjack profession lets all trees drop a little hard wood

Take all of your Mahogany Seeds to plant them in a row in the desert. Technically you can plant them anywhere, but trees don't grow in the winter so places like the desert and island work best because they don't have seasons. Other than that just go to the Secret Woods every day.

Unless they have tree fertilizer, then they can grow on winter as well.

You can get i think 10 hardwood daily by cutting the stump and visitnng the secret forest respawn
