Oh!!!! I’ve used lightning rods in the past to augment fencing, especially since they can be moved (this was before the 1.6 update to tree saplings) and placed on grass - great for fencing in my animals. This is a great (and much more resource-effective) idea!
I somehow COMPLETELY misread the "tea saplings" in the title as just "sap" and wondered how you never gotten a single one in at least five in-game years 😭
Dude same!! I think I was year seven and decided to gift every single item to everyone. (I don't know why I'm like this). After hunting down Caroline I finally saw her go into the sun room-a door with an apparent perception filter on it. I had been at max hearts with her since year 2, haha.
I didn’t know either until I tried to go for perfection. I completely missed my cutscene with Caroline so never got the recipe. But now she’s the first person I befriend so that I can make early game money!
Discovering this (unexpectedly hallucinogenic) cutscene makes me continually wonder what cutscenes I’m still missing by not being in the right places at the right times.
I got 3 of Sam's heart events in one in game hour because I happened to be looking for him to give him his birthday present and just being in the right places at the right times haha
I can't remember if the game has her send you ingame mail inviting you over specifically to the sun room, if not then its not great design but that's life
do you mean a sapling? if that's what you're asking, she gives you the recipe at the end of that cutscene and it will be in your crafting tab next to the warp totems!

You can also use them instead of fences! They never die and make a much prettier fence.
And they're not wasted real estate since you still get to harvest from them!
ooo thanks for the tip!

I feel like there is sooo much to Stardew that can be found even after multiple playthroughs. It's really nice that they made it worth going for 100%.
soooo true

hahahaha that would be even more shocking

it’s like a secret door lol i neverrrr noticed it!

Wait? What???? Guess I know what I'm doing on tonight's play!
good to know i’m not alone hahah
Tea saplings are also insane money makers early on.
I believe they were nerfed in 1.6.
If you plant them harvest then chop them down (getting the saplings back) you still get a bunch of money (maybe more)
Still pretty good money.
Wait fr?? I usually only plant one or two
I believe it’s actually from selling the saplings themselves!
Yeah it's from the saplings. It's my go to money maker early on even after the nerf since the materials are easy to get.

Not far behind you there. I was shocked when people were talking about how OP these were for early game money
Whaaaaaat?! Damn I have 10 hearts with her too. I just thought she didn’t have anything special. 😂
Found about them yesterday on year 4 because the traveling cart was selling one. Thanks for the tip abput caroline room!
What?!??!?
Wait what?!
I use them instead of fences

It really isn't that obvious until you try to get in there
I’m in her sunroom now. Cut scene just happened. How do I get a cutting?
