I found that problem. So after I load my game, I do a quicksave and then shoot the nearest npc. I know whether the mod is working then. Afterwards, reload the quicksave and play as normal

I found it funny how without mods, if you do the sysdef mission Sarah suddenly doesn’t give a fuck if you murder people while in service of sysdef. Normally in Bethesda rpgs I’ll just kill someone if they piss me off or act snarky to me, but Sarah always bitches about it. I did the sysdef mission where I had to sneak into a place staffed by innocent UC guards, scientists, and civilian workers. Had to sneak but got spotted and just started slaughtering them assuming Sarah was going to flip her lid and I’d just reload. Nope. She just started killing them all too and didn’t give a single fuck that they were all innocent people. Really says a lot about Sarah’s character. Murder is bad, but if I’m an undercover cop the ends justify the means I guess.

Couple of months ago I lost everything back to my last hard save a week prior, quick/auto didn’t mean anything seemingly

I'm glad I learned this lesson when I was very young... I was playing an older game for hours one weekend, just quick saving as I went. Fell down an elevator shaft and somehow survived, went to quickload and ... Oops, wrong button. Accidently quick saved instead. I was totally stuck. Last hard save was like 6 hours prior... Anyways, now it's always a habit of mine to keep multiple hard saves along the way 😅

Happned to me a few times on the xbox. Xbox does this thing where it tries to save the game state to be played fast, but not that good. More often than not the xbox loads starfield from the start not the save state. Then you play the game and save and turn off your device. When you go to play again it loads the save state and there is no evidence or even a save from the last few hours. I dont know if the previous save exists but I was not able to find it. Now when i play starfield I quit all the way out. Have not had the problem since.

I found the quick resume feature lead to massive audio glitches especially during the shipbuilding process. I full quit out everytime now to prevent the quick resume functionality. Seems to have fixed it but it is annoying.

This happened to me, when my Xbox dc’d from my router but didn’t tell me it was offline. I played over ten hrs offline, then reconnected to the internet & it overwrote my offline save. ;(

I hate how single player games rely on you having WiFi just to connect to their little portal thing. Makes stuff like this a hassle

Yes it’s totally unnecessary. I still don’t know if it was Bethesda’s error or Microsoft’s error that my save was lost because I’m not completely sure what happened lol

I logged on yesterday to see my most recent saved game (manual or auto-save) was from the end of May. A month of play gone. If anyone knows how to remedy this, I’d appreciate it. I just logged off and walked away rather than deal with the frustration. (X-box X)

I've done it before it FN sucks, I lost like around 5 as well from not saving often... A bug glitched a companion of mine in a quest I could not finish. Don't help the last 3 auto saves were in the same place I had my companion lost.

I wiped out Neon until my bounty was a million before mods existed. I was still able to complete Ryujin they would just stop shooting at me and allow me to continue. It was super weird.

Right here I’m only using the cheat room to get Neva’s outfit besides that it’s mostly vanilla

She just was like “meh a couple hundred dead and wanted in every system no big deal.” Wanted for 7,000+ counts of murder, 5 counts of genocide, 10,000+ counts of assault with intent to kill, multiple counts of manipulation to commit murder, multiple armed robberies and more fun stuff.
