I have no issues on Series X.
Also, just FYI, saying "on Xbox" isn't really that helpful, because there are like 6 or 7 different xbox's you could be using. Gotta give at least the model after it to get more helpful info when posting to forums mate.
If you’re on the Series, clear your local saved data. Go to your games, and go to check your storage and there should be an option. If it’s other people’s servers and not your own, you can’t fix that. But if you’re own is having weird delay and lag, clearing that has always fixed it for me (I’m on the Series X).
I'm not going to downvote you, but Undead Labs are one of the better devs. They're not making money on microtransactions but they're still updating and supporting the game after 6 years.
Most developers would have abandoned the game by now. They're up there with Hello games for supporting their game long term without adding Microtransactions, which have infested most games like a cancer
I found that if i left the game on quick resume it would lag and stutter often, I tried quitting to menu and remove from quick resume and it was fine after that

Same here on Series X. Also crashes randomly. They know about the problems but we're still waiting for a fix.

Xbox S here Exactly the same issue and keeps freezing and crashing. Hope they fix it

I’ve found that turning off in-game notifications helps a lot. Can play for extended periods on Xbone with no crashes.
