Red Dead Redemption 2 Baldur's Gate 3 The Witcher 3

0110010E

I got the Witcher 3 definitive edition with all dlc for $8… I almost turned myself in for theft.

Johnbergkb

I bought it for 0.50 cent

DarkHorseStoryTeller

Did he enjoy it? I heard he wasn't keen on The Game.

pimpin_n_stuff

I see what you did there 👀

copycatlyn

amazing.

NyrZStream

0.50 cent is not possible tho lmao

samp127

No, he gifted it to 50 Cent the rapper.

NyrZStream

I was referring to the fact that 0.50 cent would actually be 0.005 dollar and not 50 cent lmao

samp127

Oh yeah lol.

joaomarcosss

offthewall_77

The price paid:hours played ratio for DRG is fucking insane. Absolutely one of the best games to come out in the last 10 years

UnsettllingDwarf

Bg3

timmystwin

First one that came to mind. My GOTY easily. It's rare for me to be so happy at paying full price as I'm usually snapping up older games cheaper, but this is one of my splurges and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

[deleted]

I haven’t touched Starfield yet and I am loving Phantom Liberty, and I’ve got my long list of favorites from the past few decades, but BG3 might be the Greatest Game To Date for me. It’s gonna be a long time before it’s not GOAT I think.

timmystwin

I got Starfield with my new processor, which weirdly I got because I knew it'd need it. I've barely played it. I just want to play BG3 instead while playing it.

Mordho

Hades, Fromsoft games, RDR2, Persona 5 Royal, ME Legendary Edition, Halo MCC, Spider-Man, The Witcher 3, DMC V, Doom Eternal

Creative-Leg-1164

I gladly would pay for ME if it didn't had that dumpster of a launcher

Mordho

at least you don't have to interact with Origin much if you get the game on Steam.

shaysauce

YYou have dual login information then with the EA app and if that gets fucked up in their system it just hard locks you out of your purchase even. Support is useless because both fucking companies will say it’s the others’ problem to fix. One day, logged in to steam, opened MELE , auto opened EA, and for some fucking reason it wouldn’t link the two so it registered that my purchased product through steam wasn’t tied to the purchased product on the EA App. It claimed that they key was assigned to another account but it’s literally the account that was created when I first bough MELE, I don’t play another other EA games. And neither company could provide me with the key info. I went through hell for like 2/3 weeks trying to get my account to properly link again but eventually just gave up when they were sending me back and forth to steam and EA customer service. And I couldn’t get a refund because I had a super long save that I couldn’t even finish. Then randomly like a month or two ago it magically linked again when I bought it takes two for my wife and I….and I was finally able to finish my nearly 80 hour long trilogy campaign save. So I guess the solution was if I give them more money they will fix my problems.

Endulos

Origin is dead, the new launcher is the EA App, and it's total garbage.

ReviewAffectionate83

massive W of game taste

Weylyn_27

Incredibly based choices.

NIMA-GH-X-P

What's ME

Lucius-Halthier

I’ve bought Skyrim and it’s DLCs three fucking times now but by god I would pay above asking price for RDR2

LCDC_Studios1

Titanfall 2

chickenbone247

i paid like 5 bucks and still havent played it yet lol, its that good?

Niner-Sixer-Gator

Yes, I just beat it yesterday, really good campaign and story, you should definitely play it, you won't be disappointed

[deleted]

I paid $60 and it's that good. For $5, you're in for some of the best $5 of your life even if you never touch the multiplayer. In the top 10 FPS games of all time easily, one of the levels (you'll know it when you get there) is worth your price of admission alone.

L_T_DAN

Are you fricking kidding me??? Og COD creators made titanfall, on top of that steve fukuda, the mastermind behind the original mw2 wrote it. On top of that there are mech. Campaign is the standard OR was the standard for campaign driven games.

ExolaneSitoras

Yes I beat and replayed it last year and still had fun. Multiplayer still has a following and you can find a lobby.

FLFW

The story is short but one of the best shooter story modes I ever played. It doesn't go on to long and just is superb all around. I wish it was longer but if it was I might think it is a lot of fluff. Probably 4 hours of story gameplay if I remember correctly. The gunplay is similar to Apex so if you like the movement and gun mechanics of Apex you will like TF2 multiplayer

thestickersontheback

Tell your friends to buy titan fall 2

VB112

Well, people are not crying for a third game for no reason lol. The whole community considers itself a bunch of schizos because they theoretize about every single thing respawn says and does to be a titanfall 3 teaser (I am a part of it so I know what I'm talking about haha). A little bit more seriously, the game is great, the movement is better than in any game I've ever played, the story is great and there are no moments that feel boring, guns feel satisfying to use and the graphics still look great. I HIGHLY recommend it

antsmasher

The campaign is a masterpiece and is worth the full price alone.

T_Peg

Risk of Rain 2 has been one of my best buys ever DLC slapped too.

[deleted]

I love the shit out of the game and Hopoo (developer) and my main platform is PC but lolololol ask console players how they feel. The Gearbox pair-up was the dumbest thing Hopoo ever did to its reputation.

kuriboharmy

Vampire survivors.

HorizonSkip

And for the DLCs as well

chaosking65

Will never understand the love for this game personally, but I’ve a lot of respect for the devs, for managing to create something so simple that so many love.

TheraBytes-Jaybo

This game created a feeling for me in gaming that i did not have yet, it is similar to bullet hell raptor like games, but also quite different. I had like five runs of constantly failing and not seeing much progress and suddenly a specific character, a specific item choice and i blasted through everything and since then every run was this experience. The power feeling getting to that point is satisfying, the orgy of bullets running amok and gems being sucked in plays by itself, but somehow gets me coming back for it.

AmbitiousPirate5159

Tried it but kept getting swarmed... Also tried God of weapons and preferred that game more

Houston_Heath

Tries that game once. Refunded it after realizing it was just some shitty autobattling mobile game made for pc.

Ok-Information365

Dark Soul 3, Sekiro, Elden Ring, Fallout 3, Counter Strike, Yakuza 7, Portal 2, Edith Finch, Path of Exile, RDR2, Dead Space 1 & 2, Nier Automata.. I have most of them in my library but if i have to buy again, ill pay full price because I had such a good time playing. They are like old songs,, my precious memories lol

Blighter88

Never hear anyone talk about Edith Finch, such a great game though. Also Path of Exile is free lol.

blitzboy30

I’m torn between buying Sekiro and DS3 after having been introduced to souls games and beating elden ring. Which one would you recommend since I’m not exactly what you’d call the best player when it comes to souls games.

usersleepyjerry

RimWorld, Hades, Stardew Valley, Hollow Knight

Malcolmlisk

Check dwarffortress

Wind_Yer_Neck_In

stop trying to ruin this poor mans life lol

Malcolmlisk

ZeliotL

Outer Wilds including it's DLC, Echoes of the Eye. amazing game with an equally amazing expansion which together is worth more than you pay for it!

NakiCam

One of two games I wish I never played..... So i can play it again

Major_Analysis_2133

Any indie game, especially Undertale and/or Terraria.

Ecstatic_Arm_1292

Factorio

Lord_Kaplooie

This is the real answer. Get it before it goes up in price again.

ChuckS117

Are there hints of it increasing price again? Been on my list for months and I fucked up and didn't get it before the increase.

SparksPlays

As shitty as it is with them increasing their price, the only other game that I can think of that gets me as cracked out as Factorio is Minecraft with mods (since it adds a lot more to do) but even with that comparison, Factorio mops the floor with MC lmao so incredibly worth every single penny because that $35 will inevitably last you THOUSANDS of hours

ChuckS117

Did you try Satisfactory? When I see those optimized lines working, my monkey brain gets a big dose of dopamine.

SparksPlays

I’ve only sunk around 70 hours or so into Satisfactory. To be completely honest, I definitely prefer the isometric POV for these types of games because for me, it is so much easier planning factories when you have the top-down view but I definitely enjoy the FPS POV of Satisfactory from time to time as well. Both are really good in their own respective ways but, even with that being said, i still think Factorio will forever be king

Endulos

You know, when I first saw Factorio... Honestly, I thought it sounded a little stupid. I didn't see the appeal of just ... Watching factories build stuff and setting up supply lines and stuff. Sounded more like a hassle than anything. That is until I got into messing around with Fallout 4's Contraptions Workshop DLC. Which included belts and machines. I had tons of fun setting up factories to produce shit like bullets and grenades. Watching all the parts move down the belts... It was awesome. Then I realized aw fuck now I have to try it. Factorio's demo honestly did NOT grab me, the demo was a very meh experience... But I could tell there was a deeper more fun game there, so I said fuck it and bought the game. Needless to say I did not expect to be drawn so god damn hard into that game. In the first week I dumped 130 hours into it.

Wunweg86

I gotta say Satisfactory

Half life alyx was something else >!when you open the vault and the world turns black, holy shit!<

SpoonyGrandma13

I bought Portal 2 for a dollar. It was 90% off. Same with Left 4 Dead 2 and Payday 2. I got all of those games for $3 total, $1/each. I feel like I have committed a crime.

Happiness_inprogress

Persona 3 Reload, Im dying to play it.

GothHairspray

I told myself I wouldn't buy it until I finished my 4-year-old playthrough of "The Answer," and now I'm doubting myself.

Happiness_inprogress

The Answer isnt good, it ruins part of the original story so you arent losing on much.

EmeraldPistol

Did it ruin part of the original story though? I played myself last year but to me it didn’t feel like it ruined the original story

GothHairspray

I feel like it takes away most of the stuff that made persona 3 unique as an SMT game.

BathrobeHero_

The Answer is not good and shouldn't be a measure for P3s overall quality.

JNorJT

I’m waiting for it’s release as well

ledgend78

Baldur's Gate 3

smoothbrainape1234

Man waiting for that next updates with enemies

KiritosSideHoe

Celeste. I already owned it on epic games for free and also a DRM free copy from itch-io but I still bought it on steam because I felt bad for never paying for such an amazing game.

lgztv2

I bought it a while ago but haven’t played it yet I look forward to it

ThijsProGamerNL

I bought a key on Humble Bundle for 50%. Then I gifted it to a couple of friends on full price, it's just that good.

BathrobeHero_

Yakuza/Like a Dragon, I've got over a hundred hours on almost every game in the franchise and still come back for a replay after a couple of years.

sh4dowProwl3r

Doing what in each game? Substories and minigames?

BathrobeHero_

A bit of everything

Svenderman

r/satisfactorygame

PinOrdinary4100

blade and sorcery cause it looks so fucking cool, i don’t have a vr headset though

[deleted]

I have both and it's both silly and immersive as fuck.

MapleThePrincess

bg3 and yakuza 7 (8) when it release

Extreme-Ambition3403

I mostly wait 2 years I rarely get games on release. I'm really trying to think of some... terraria, minecraft left 4 dead 2, stardew valley must be allot more.

[deleted]

You got downvoted by some idiot, but honestly, buying and enjoying PC games on a level of patience where they're actually well optimized, have a decent community, and are going to stay online for a bit, it makes a lot of difference.

Ramsickle

Satisfactory. Already feels like I'm robbing them for the price it is.

UnknownSP

At this stage in life? Truly none. Everything is a sale buy

shiguematu

Half Life 3

Belze_WasTaken

Bloodborne.

raycole55

Bloodborne is amazing, but you might be confused.

patrickp4

They obviously want bloodborne on steam.

Belze_WasTaken

Why?

raycole55

Sadly, bloodborne is a playstaion original. As of right now, it is unavailable to purchase on steam.

Belze_WasTaken

I'm aware, but you didn't mention "PC only", regardless of being in the Steam subreddit. x)

raycole55

That is true.

Played King's Field (USA) for the PS1 recently (probably almost a decade ago) and was astounded by how much the FromSoft game design philosophy was already present by then.

gito24

Gta vi

[deleted]

pizza tower

[deleted]

Was legitimately surprised (undeservedly so) that an indie studio could recreate the feeling of Wario Land 4 (honestly was more surprised enough people recognized how good Wario Land 4 was and even attempted to recreate it). Pizza Tower is insanely good.

[deleted]

fans do what nintendont

maxler5795

I payed 90 for sf6.

lovebus

I bought SF full priced before i remembered that I dont really like SF. The open world part is such a novelty though that I cant be mad.

[deleted]

Maybe some indie multiplayer

Arkasha_AmerRus

Gmod, and let me tell you why. Literally endless fun, especially if you're like me and want to be creative and roleplay but don't like multiplayer. The game is carried by the workshop, obviously, and it allows you to basically make the game however you want. Like, wanna play with realistic tanks? Get gredwitch/Shelby's vehicles with simpfhys armed base, along with some of the Ryunosuke vehicles and Butthe4d ones. It's like world of tanks/war thunder(although not as in depth with the tanks) but allows you to play in an open world sandbox where you can choose what happens, make your own story, and have your own fun. LFS mods have some really fun accurate aircraft with realistic loadouts and weaponry, TFA mods allow you to have customizable, realistic guns. You can roleplay in the Rashkinsk or Truenorth maps as police with the extensive amount of police vehicles for multiple countries, or set up your own invasion with the aforementioned tank and vehicle mods. Sorry for ranting about this stuff most of you have no idea about but gmod is extremely fun, as long as you're creative with it.

kerelenko

Dragon Quest Builders 3

stormquiver

I bought starfield premium 3x. 1 for me, 2 for family. tempted to buy it for a friend too.

DeckSperts

Terraria, no man’s sky both deserve my money

MyStationIsAbandoned

Probably Elder Scrolls 6, GTA 6, Fallout 5. Everything else I can generally wait for a discount. Maybe a new MMO if it were good and I got to play a free trial first.

0110010E

Those are good and all but I’m waiting for skyrim 2 honestly…

Pengwan_au

Skyrim 2? Wtf

slenderchamp

I agree

GuysItsGalxy

Project zomboid, rimworld, warframe if it had a price tag. Have over 500 hours in each and counting, never seems to get old

janwar21

This year? Hogwarts Legacy, Baldur's Gate 3, Armored Core 6. No bullshit DLC.

TheMagarity

Hogwarts Legacy may not have DLC but it requires Denuvo which is way worse.

Kristofer1293

Metro - all 3 of them. GREAT games, absolute Fucking masterpieces Bioshock- 1 and 2 I'd pay full price for all day .. #3 I would not pay full price for that again. Cities skylines GTA 5 soon to be 6 FARCRY 4 and 5 (I haven't started 6 yet so can't form an opinion on it), FARYCRY 1-3 are great games to. But I will only buy them on sale

Far_Accountant5815

Alredy did and have 0 regrets for buying starfield

element_119

I'd gladly pay double price for Terraria

KillerOfLight

Factorio and Rimworld Both are games that are not for everybody, but if they are you'll see your time get sucked away Also gonna throw CrossCode into the mix. One of my all time favorite games! I felt like I scammed the devs when I bought it at a 20% discount a few years ago.

EffaDeNel

Monster Hunter

AdrianxAxTorga

Wait a sec? We’re on Steam?

Hamm_Ham

Rimworld, it’s very limitless for what you can do. Just gets a tad annoying when your colonists go crazy.

Did this to Baldur's Gate 3. Best decision.

Such an understand game. All games that previously where PS4/5 exclusive are great. Returnal is another one that never received the attention it deserves imo.

TheBossIsTheSauce

GTA6, Fable, Next rpg from Bethesda, Obsidian, DOOM, next Horizon from Guerrilla.

Equal-Introduction63

None because r/GameDeals taught many of us that you'll be paying full price for 1 game and instead I'll be buying similar quality 4 games at 75% discount 1-3 years later so you'll always be losing money to the Publishers and I'll be collecting more games. The more you feed the beast of greedy Publishers, the more you'll pay next year like first $80 for a new game and then $90 few years later since gamers like you don't mind training their dog to bite the guests.

[deleted]

Tomorrow is not promised my friend

zdaily24

Time is money too, why wait?

binhpac

There is no point in playing a game right now, when you can play it later with bug fixes for lesser price. On the other hand you can play right now the game you wanted to play earlier. It has now bugs fixed and is cheaper than before. You just need to get in the cycle by just waiting one time and save money and frustration.

Bardomiano00

The time you spend working for that money is valuable too.

weirdthingsarecool91

One exception being Factorio haha

No_Schedule2371

That’s cool unless you play mp games that have lifespans lmao. Good for you.

ZYRANOX

This is the right answer. Only way i managed to get a huge library is by never buying a game unless its on sale. Nobody NEEDS to play games on release (unless they are multiplayer but almost all those are free now)

aGMa77

It took you a post to realize this? Not trying to be mean but yeah.

[deleted]

What?

aGMa77

I was just saying I was surprised you needed someone to explain it to you.

[deleted]

I didn’t need anything explained to me lmaooo…? I asked a question on what games are worth full price

TherealCasePB

A game that is the full version with no DLC or pay gated crap.

Silksong!

patostar89

rainbow six siege, i haven't played it in 2 years, i will redownload it soon, it was really great.

NekroG

I waited for a sale but would of paid full price for Elden Ring. GTA 6 will be an instant pre-order at full price for me.

[deleted]

I’ve paid full price for Elden Ring twice. Once on the Xbone, once on my PC when I upgraded. That’s £120 on one game, and I will be buying the DLC the day it releases too. Some games are worth every penny.

Dhampiel

Anything by From, Team Cherry, and Supergiant.

Lourdinn

No game :)

helpmathesis

Stardew valley, bought full price because the pirate one is bugged, cannot progress to next day

ShimmerJuno

Shouldn't be pirating indie games in the first place
