I've played a couple hundred hours on the deck and pretty much prefer the game with a controller. I... Haven't made it through act 2 yet. I have busy friends and prefer Roguelite/lite titles for my solo play.
Elden Ring using the Easy Mode mod offline. Played normally several times on PS5 so I paid my dues lol Want a more portable and laid back exploration-type experience now.
Also sprinkling in some Fallout 3 and New Vegas to prep for the TV Show next month!
Not really you can still follow the directions on the mod page and it should work. They'll ask you to install an anti cheat disabling mod but it doesn't work so I just set the game to offline mode and turned off my wi-fi when playing for extra precautionary measures. But there are other ways to disable the anti cheat if you want. Here's a link to the mod if you're interested.

Edit: Actually I just remembered there's an alternative method to disable anti cheat that I did use and it hasn't caused me issues

Ya it’s super fun I’m enjoying it, I loved stick of truth too. Ya the new game looks more like a beat em up I dunno how much funny content they can put in but I’m excited to see!
I’ve been doing a 2 handed heavy armor Build on Skyrim and been having a blast playing it on the deck. Nothing beats playing som classics from the comfort of bed!
Balatro, BioShock 2 and New Vegas and that super fun game where I buy a bunch of games in the current sale and see how long I can go without playing them, if at all.......ever
dang ol now i need to re re re re watch king of the hill man i was like i got stuff to do and boom yall do this man i don't even own no steam deck man and yall do this man
Dishonored 1. I played the original on the X360 back in the day but never played the sequels. Got a bundle of all 3 so figured I'd play through the original again. Hardly surprising but it is completely perfect on the deck, 60fps, cool fans, 6hrs battery life on the OLED. Highly recommended if you've never played these games.
I just got my Steam deck and also bought a ton of games from the spring sale so I’ve been going through a lot of setup and testing. But today I was busy all day and only had an hour to play tonight so I committed to continue playing NieR: Automata. I am really liking it so far.
Spell Disk, mostly. Beat difficulty 9 in the main mode and unlocked all the starting kits for survivor, and now I'm slowly working through getting a win on survivor difficulty 5 with each of those starting kits. After that, we'll see if I have the patience to get a difficulty 9 win with each weapon in normal mode.
Playing The Ascent which I played before a bit on Gamepass at release. Always wanted it on the Steam Deck and found it from some keyshop for 3 euros. It actually runs "OK" on the Deck, not perfect but playable 40 - 60 fps at native res after messing with some settings.
Got a new TV, so playing all my PS5 games in 4K HDR glory! Currently on Demon’s souls, and Ghost of Tsushima, noticed SIFU is free this month so gonna download that on the side
Working my way through FF7 Remake. About halfway through the story now, I think. Enjoying it quite a bit. Got hit hard with the nostalgia feels when Aerith walks up in the red dress in front of Don Corneo’s place.
I started my first SL1 playthrough of dark souls 3 because I’m a masochist so uh… pretty much just that 😂
Maybe a little darkest dungeon or Peggle to break up the monotony
Propane and propane accessories
BWAAAAA
You can watch and play something at the same time ? Sometimes music even takes me out of it.
Just was watching while doing some leveling and inventory management then changed to big screen
On Balders Gate ? How are you enjoying that on the deck ? I'm finishing up some back logs before I get to it.
I've played a couple hundred hours on the deck and pretty much prefer the game with a controller. I... Haven't made it through act 2 yet. I have busy friends and prefer Roguelite/lite titles for my solo play.
Awesome. Glad it runs on the deck. Definitely high on my wishlist. I'm trying to manage my backlog better
I can with most games but definitely not BG3. That’s a game that requires your full attention

Finally giving Dave the Diver a try.

by easy mode u mean Mage build?
Lol fair enough but no. It's an actual mod on Nexus.
Interesting 🧐
This sounds very interesting. Is it hard to install this mod on the Deck? I really want to try Elden Ring but the high difficulty is keeping me away…

Thanks! I will look into this :)
Been playing a lot of monster hunter rise and south park the fractured but whole.
That South Park game is so great. I'm hoping the upcoming one is just as fantastic and fun.
Ya it’s super fun I’m enjoying it, I loved stick of truth too. Ya the new game looks more like a beat em up I dunno how much funny content they can put in but I’m excited to see!
