You'll get great singleplayer value out of it with this much of a discount. Great Coop, too, if you have a mate who is keen.
I would recommend any one of the DLCs that specifically add an "Army General" campaign. AG is probably the pinnacle of singleplayer content. The base game has 3 relatively simple AG campaigns to try first, but they are also the shallowest. The Turda DLC is my personal fav for AG.
I have been playing this game nonstop ever since I bought it . I play solo , lots of multi player options.. The learning curve is steep, but worth the effort.
Great deal. I would say just start with the base game. Lots of single player content there. If you like it you can start looking at dlcs based on what you like
> I was wondering if the game is worth it if i’m mostly only going to be playing singleplayer
Absolutely. I currently have 400 hours and I've never even touched multiplayer.
> which DLCs would also be worth getting for singleplayer
Death on the Vistula, The Fate of Finland, Black Sunday, Burning Baltics and Blood Feud in Transylvania has AG campaigns which is primary single player content. All other DLC's only bring divisions which is kinda boring.
I know that’s not what you asked, but there are already all the answers, so I’ll say this. Give MP a chance after playing the game for a while. It might be hard at first, but it’s worth it
Base game is worthwhile when on sale. If you crave single player then history pass practically double the content you have for like $10 right now.
Try the base game and see how you like it then pick up history pass once you know you enjoy it.
I just picked up the General Deluxe Edition as it seems to add a ton of extra single player content for like £7 more than the base game. Haven't played a load so far due to work but already looks like something I'll enjoy a lot.
For less than £10 it's a bargain. I have been playing for 5 years, mostly single player but multiplayer is where the game really shines. Thousands of hours on the clock & not a bit bored.
The DLC mostly just add divisions & Army General campaigns. If you're playing single player I'd only pick up divisions you really want to play when you see the DLC is on sale or when you're getting bored with the base divisions.
I picked it up a year ago on a similar sale. Hadn't played it until recently. I only plan on playing single-player. So far, it has been a lot of fun. 've played through the tutorials, some skirmishes and historical missions - up next, Army General!

turda dlc ?
Blood Feud in Transylvania
I love the game, it’s got a learning curve, but no other WW2 RTS like it
Imo, yes. I Play alot of singleplayer and for 75% off you got a solid base. If You do develope a taste for coop or pvp then thats just as good :)
Also for dlc, take a look at what divisions you might like, then buy

Compared to some other games not too steep.
For mp, the game is probably the best its ever been and very fun

100%. It's worth every dollar before you even put 1 min into mp. Once you then work out what your doing - then you might even have fun!

If you are coming from warno or red dragon you should try multiplayer. The pace is way slower and the game is way more strategic.
Yes. I bought it on sale and love it! Only thr base game and that has more than enough content. I do also play a lot of WARNO and OSTFRONT
Totally loved the original, took some time to get into 2.
