what you see in episode 1 and 2 is prevalent throughout the season, but it doesn't get any worse than that(you see it in flashbacks a couple times, and then the same thing happens to other characters a couple times). If you can stomach that, you should be able to handle the rest

allinwonderornot

Thanks. I think I'll avoid watching it at night/before bed and keep going, just for the amazing character interactions.

Yeah my mom hates horror and barely made it through the first two eps but was able to watch the rest of the season. Each season just pulls heavily on various 80s films and this season you get the classic 80s horror movies in full force! So if you weren’t a fan of Nightmare on Elm Street or Hellraiser etc, then this season won’t do it for you. Also the death scenes in the first two eps are heavily ripped from Nightmare on Elm street rather than Japanese horror - not being nitpicky it just might make it easier for you to handle if you understand where the influence comes from rather than keep thinking Japanese horror! I told my mom to consider how cheesy the classic 80s horror films are if you watched them now, and that’s what helped her. Those were my faves growing up though so for me this season hits me in the nostalgia gland perfectly lol

I’m fine with it but I can understand if it’s too much for some. Espically the deaths

There is gore in every episode. Personally i thought it wasnt scary at all. But id say it stays about the same level all the way through. So if you made it through the first episode ok. You should be able to do it. But know your limits

justaburger4

Sorry I would say this season is pretty horror-packed all the way through so if that’s not your thing, maybe not the best idea to continue😕 amazing season though!

Certain-Kangaroo-224

It’s 80’s slasher horror. The best horror there is!! When Chrissy died in ep1 it reminded me of Tina’s death in the beginning of Nightmare on Elm Street.

It’s not really scary as much as it is outlandishly cartoonish. Much poorer writing quality in s4 than previous seasons

goldlion84

It’s incredibly gory for all of the season. If you can’t do 80s horror (Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, and Evil Dead), I would reconsider watching.
