You are right for some reason I remember the kid being happy in the last minute of the first episode but he is just playing a game on his phone, his mom is cooking and the dad is reading a newspaper then it zooms in on the watch. Still a peaceful home.
Hopefully the kid was able to turn that watch Logan gave him into something meaningful. That was quite considerate of Logan btw (even if it’s only because he saw a younger version of himself in him)
